awts! very bad nga!!!!
Hahaha. Dami na rin alam ah

3M BC may binabagayan yan color ng car or may mismong binabagayan na car, BC is the reflective look ng 3M, mukhang pang damatans IMHO at hindi bagay sa Elantra, sorry for those who have that tint.
3M CS (Color Stable) is acceptable. Pero BS parin. 3M parin kasi eh. Both owned by Autohub Group.
Re: Fog lamps.
Sa ECP shop, cheaper, as in cheaper.
BTW how much po yung cost if id like to replace the horns?
I'm scheduled for a elantra-MT testdrive today. Any tips po kung ano yung pangit or hndi ganoong maganda sa elantra na kelangan kong iobserve?
I've test-driven a MT one a few weeks ago. I guess pangit is depende sa expectations mo. Sa kin, wala namang pangit as in PANGIT talaga. It's actually responsive for a 1.6L. I've had 1.6L's na mabagal hatak (BMW 316i), and those that are high-revving, giving you the feeling na mabilis (Civic VTI). Clutch is soft enough though. Very nice shifter.
Overall, no complaints. I was actually supposed to get mine yesterday, pero I opted to move it to tomorrow kasi schedule conflict sa office. Hehe.
Oh and another thing, the steering wheel is VERY light. A little bit too soft. Electronic na kasi un e. It will be very good for maneuvering in parking slots, pero not sure sa mga twist and turns. European cars are much, much heavier, but you feel you have more control of the car. But maybe that's just me. Bale wala nang steering "play".
JGH from my test drive. (Elantra MT)
Actually, I've only driven for 2months pero medyo same ang observation natn.
Steering wheel - sobrang lambot
Gas pedal - matigas
And sabi wala ng discount, ang freebies is seat cover, matting, tint. Ok na po ba yun or should i demand more? Btw through bank kami kkuha.
Ngaun nag ddlawang isip 2loy ako about getting a sedan. Should i get an SUV instead? IMO SUV is a lot better madaming pwedeng ilagay at kumasyang tao. Pero more on schooling ko sya ggamitin e dahil student palang ako. What do you guys think?
1-DIN ang nakalagay ngayon sa car, and you can use the vacant space for sunglasses, phones, cards, etc. I actually prefer this setup kasi i can replace the headunit with the model i really want, such as a 7-inch DVD player. Pagka kasi built-in un headunit like in the 1.6 AT or 1.8, ang hirap ireplace, tas mahirap din ibenta. Believe me, you'll be thankful na 2-DIN un space pag nahilig ka sa DVD player or an A/V setup.
Standard nga yun, pero nai-haggle ko pa un full front tint, rain visors, and car cover.
Nasa iyo yan. Since you're a new driver, I'd say stick with a sedan muna. Darating un point na you'll need to fit in tight parking spaces, or mag maniobra ka sa traffic ng mabilisan. Hard to do that with an SUV. Ano mas magastos? depends on the model, but I think SUV still, kahit CRDi pa yan.
As long as you are driving along the traffic lines, NOT driving ON the traffic lines ha, but just a few inches away from it, ok ka lang dapat sa right side mo. Kung me babanga sa yo, sila me kasalanan, kasi along the lines ka. Pero syempre, dapat lagi ka alert. pero good rule of thumb un nasa traffic line ka.
Another point on the sedan vs SUV dilemma - unless you get a mid-sized SUV, 5 pa ring tao lang ang maisasakay mo. If you get a MonteroSport or Fortuner, oo mas madami ka maisasakay. But if you're getting a RAV4 or Tuscon, ganun din.
Got to drive the sister's 1.8AT for a bit after 4 months. Nakaka-miss ang matulin na gas car. Hehe! It's a pity a friend went for a Sporty just recently coz he couldn't wait for an Elantra. Enjoy din yun pero iba namang feel. Hehe!
Di po nabenta bro renzo. Got reassigned back to the grandfolks. Mas kumportable at mas madaling sakyan kesa sa GS.
Matulin naman sa rekta, at stable. 215 kph on 18s max.
Parang Montero, when you sit in the driver's seat.. as if the car gets smaller. Hehehe. It might be a different story once you start driving it, though.
medyo out of topic
how much ba ang Projector HIDs nowadays? My nakita akong ad, nasa 6.5k, free installation and angel eyes pa.
And, need pa bang mag HID kapag hi beam or puwede ng low beam lang?
I received a call from my dealer, offering extended warranty. Either I pay 20k or pay the LTO price. Bale + 1 year sa warranty.
