And, need pa bang mag HID kapag hi beam or puwede ng low beam lang?

I received a call from my dealer, offering extended warranty. Either I pay 20k or pay the LTO price. Bale + 1 year sa warranty.

Needed pa ba ito or gimmick na lang?

Somehow I have a feeling that if the car will last you 5 years without major issues, it will survive 6 without problem.

Re: +1 sa warranty, huwag na. dagdag gastos lang yan, dagdag pa sakit sa ulo kasi you'll be hindered in doing stuff you like. biro mo kung magpapatali ka sa warranty nila ng 6 years, 6 years na oto mo stock na stock pa rin...

Warranty is over-rated. If we can only have selective warranty on some parts... I'd take that over a full-coverage (kung cheaper )

Yeah, the parts more prone to early breakage. Oh well.

Those projectors you see are crap. Most likely, the installers wouldn't give TLC when installing it... basta kabit nalang.

You can inquire kay garyq if you want good projectors. I believe meron siyang "budget meals" that has a better output than those you see commonly in the market.

I'm not sure pero H4 ata ang Elantra? If so, then Bi-Xenon ang ilalagay sayo ni gary. HID Hi/HID Lo. Else, single beam.

Kung hindi mo pa rin afford yung kay garyq, mag-aftermarket halogens ka nalang. For example, Osram Nightbreakers, Philips Xtreme Power, Philips Xtreme Vision etc.

The Elantra's low beams are H7. If you want to upgrade them, here are my suggestions:
    1) Low budget - replace with Osram NB, Xtreme Power or Xtreme Vision
    2) Medium to high budget - Morimoto H1 or garyq's projectors.

I don't suggest you go with those low budget plug and play projectors. Been there, wasn't happy. PM me if you want more details.

Yup, those are the Gen 5 projectors. Better than stock halogen bulb output and wider beam, and no glare compared to plug and play HIDs, but not as powerful.

    From xenonoptics:

    Morimoto H1

    G3 Projectors

    G5 Projectors

    FXR Projectors

Bottomline: Budget meal retrofits aren't bad at all, actually it's way better than slapping PNP Hid bulbs. However, kung kaya naman mag-ipon for good projectors... huwag magmadali.

Projectors do not have glare. That's one of the reasons you're getting them. Now, the main difference between the cheaper ones and more expensive ones is the output.
