2011 Hyundai Elantra [MERGED]

Ask ko lang to all elantra owners.we bought 1.8AT elantra last Nov.2011 and Jan.2012 ayaw mag start & dinala ko sa casa ang sabi kailangan palitan ung fuel pump, free namn dahil covered pa ng warranty pero hssle lang dahil almost two wks ko di nagamit ung car.

After 2 wks with the new installed fuel pump lumabas ulit ung problem, minsan pag start ko ng engine all of a sudden namamatay na lng bigla ung engine,minsan sa third attempt pa lng sya gumagana. kya last wk dinala ko sya sa ibang service center ng hyundai & pinakita sa akin ung isa sa mga spark plug, di raw maganda ang sunog & ang sabi sa akin kailangan ko palitan ung fuel ko ng mataas na octane rating .

as of now ang gamit ko kasi is extra unleaded na fuel.Sinubukan ko tawagan ung kakilala ko na service advisor & ang sabi mataas na fuel octane mas gaganda lang hatak ng car & mas smooth ang takbo pero wala daw assurance na masosolve ung namamatay ang engine pag start.

As of now 4 mos pa lng sa kin ung car, odometer almost 5k pa lng ang dami na lumalabas na prob, pano pag tumagal pa.last check up ko may charge pa ung checking.

Iniisip ko nga papalitan ng unit kc feeling ko lemon nakuha ko na car, pero di ko alam where to start & ano requirements.I will appreciate lahat ng suggestion.

It's actually pretty useful if you frequent SCTEX and other not so busy stretches of NLEX and SLEX. If you're regular route is from Subic to Tarlac on SCTEX, you could put in cruise control...

...and fall asleep.

feeling ko sa SCTEX siya useful and not so much sa NLEX. you can't relax too much on NLEX and SLEX kasi madami na dumadaan.


mas okay lang yung cruise control with bigger displacement cars, however, kasi mas makapag keep ka ng speed (up to 140kph) with relatively low rpms.

so kung sa isang kalye lang siya applicable (SCTEX), useless feature nga siya unless you drive on SCTEX most of the time

Well, ganyan talaga para masulit naman diba. Kung di free yung LTO, ipa-free mo.

Sa LTO palang bawi na.

Pero dapat i-compute mo dapat nasa 10k to 15k ang worth ng freebies. Pero kapag nasa 1.5M above yung price ng kotse, nasa 20K na dapat ang worth ng freebies.

Oo tama. Tapos kapag tinatamad ka pumunta sa ibang dealer, lokohin mo nalang SA mo. Sabihin mo sakanila, yung pinuntahan ko kasi na isang dealer binigay sakin ito (insert item here) ng libre, eh. Wonder if kaya niyo tapatan or hindi.

Hi again! Just put up my reservation for a white 1.6 mt Elantra. ok naman un test drive. Planning to pay in cash (well via company loan), so nde gaano kadami un freebies. Ok na ba un 3m tint, matting, seat cover and 3 yrs LTO? I guess wala na ko maisip na reasonable pa isama e. I guess ok na rin yun. By Tuesday next week andun na daw un unit, pero Kung silver ang kinuha ko, kahit iuwi ko na kanina . Un nga lang, pro process pa un loan ko. Pero at least naka pag decide na ko. Hehe

nice, mukhang ok yung "wavy" spokes nya, it complements the fluidic lines ng elantra.
