or else, my gc will be left idle for nearly a monthwaiting for the right tuning.
i should have taken my car to manila in the first place to get the right tune.

jay*SFR was able to come last night and fixed my ecu's problem. though my ecu was supposed to be "canned" and since jay was able to store datas for other 3.8 guys that were custom tuned, he shared those datas on my ecu. so i was getting a dynoed tuned for a price of a "canned tune" which is really great.
we did a couple of runs and it's really more fun to drive now with it's linear power. truly amazing!
for those who wants some information about the reflash, i'll be glad to share them to you.
for those who are planning for upgrades like exhaust, intake, etc.., better saved your money for reflash first and your mods later...
congrats GR!now time to do full exhaust. Other V6 guys with full exhaust and or CAI gained from 30 to 35 whp from custom tune.
do the math probably from crank to wheel there's a loss of 25 to 30%?? am not sure for the GC V6. But some baselines were at 247whp from 303..

On average, It's about 20% drivetrain loss. Give or take a few percentage points. Which is what makes Kaizen's gains so amazing! If you compute that to crank hp. WOW!![]()
hahahaha! we'll never know. jay said it was 105 degrees in autoplus that day plus pacho was using SAE measurement instead of STD which always gives lower numbers. Also don't forget that we ran out of ice na by my turn.So considering all that, i'm still happy pa rin with the numbers.
I tried it on the guestimator and it said 272 BHP. Haha! Bitin! Gusto ko 300 eh! After my other major mods, i will dyno it again. My goal is to reach 300 on stock turbo to prove that stock turbo good enough.![]()
Thanks sir! Can't wait to install my turbo manifold, intake manifold and new exhaust. Those should give me even more power! I'm trying to get to the V6 level with my 4 cylinder or even more. Hehe!
I'm not too good at reading the dyno but ya pacho was saying my car has so much torque. I love my car even more now. My 2nd gear is insane! Now i really feel like the engine is a 4B11! Haha!
