No doubt the GC had more more on tap had it been longer (and straight) stretches of road. I'm done with top speeds. These days, I prefer multiple romps of short blasts. This is why i'm very interested to know if Hyundai will actually release a V8 version of the GC as has been rumored in some sites for quite some time already. I'd get the Camaro V8 if i had P4.8M lying around, but I don't so the GC it is.
Or maybe there's something wrong with my friends' GC. Like i said, I was actually a bit underwhelmed with it. I mean it pulled hard but it didn't exactly pin me to my seat like I expected. This is also why i'm looking at doing the reflash right away and would like to find out how much gain is achieved with the reflash. I understand a manual transmission would help responsiveness but i'm also hoping it would help address the slight lag when you ram the pedal to the floor.
