I'm asking for a friend, his Gen. 4 Starex's rotor discs have to be replaced according to the casa, and they gave him a quotation of 17k/pair. Could you guys name a few shops specializing in Hyundai parts so he could check the prices? TIA.

Goodgear and Seiring are the usual choices.

I'm guessing 225/70r16? This is the size of the lower variant Kia Carnival. Not sure if there's a 235/65r16.

Guys, how's the tire wear on your GS? Pantay kain, or corners are more worn?

Pantay naman. I keep them at 42-43 psi front and 44-45 psi rear. It is still the same set of tyres when i bought the gs 2-1/2 years ago, already 28,780 km on the odo. Comparing with the spare tyre which has never been used the rear tyres have more than 75% thread and the front tyres at more than 50%. I might be buying new front tyres middle of next year.

    M/T Fluid: API SERVICE GL-4 (SAE 75W/85)
Rear Axle Oil: API GL-4 (SAE 90), Except for KDM year model 2009 and above, use LSD oil only.
Hankook and Nexen brand new tires are not easy to find, but are available at Hancars for both 16" (CVX) and 17" (HVX). Do not replace with different brand with lower loading capacity, the GS is heavy!

Fyi sirs, Hancars has moved to it's new showroom and service center at 16 Scout Rallos st. Quezon city, a few steps from Timog McDonald's.

Thanks bro yebo. My 18s aren't as lucky. Wear is about equal but toward the outside shoulders of each tire, which would supposedly denote underinflation. Thing is, i've been at 43-45 psi already. So it's really the limitation of the tire and its loading capacity.
