Yun ang hindi ko alam. Feeling ko not much better than with other Euro2 diesels. Nawiwili umupak eh. Hahaha!

city driving siguro yan in traffic? kasi gs ko hiway i get 11+km/L fully loaded with 9 pax and luggage. i also use unioil diesel.

Not really traffic.. siguro short distance and nasa 20 to 30 km/h lang ang takbo..

a kaya pala e, low speed e di low gear din palagi. mas magastos nga yan kasi parang nasa traffic ka din. saka baka barado na din exhaust mo at laging low speed.

Hindi pwedeng barado ang exhaust.. 2013 ang GS ko at 3000 kms pa lang ang tinatakbo.. :D

nope, wala naman na break in period yan e. yung gs ko after the 1000km PM byahe agad ng pagudpud and averaged 12+km/L during the trip. lagi lang babad sa low gear yan kaya ganyan, nag-adapt yung ecu in "traffic mode" kaya mataas fc. ihataw mo yan sa nlex at sctex (ingat lang sa radar gun after luisita) then saka mo computin ang fc. kahit naman anung sasakyan pag 20-30kph lang takbo lagi e tataas ang fc.

city driving yan malamang. how about hiway? dapat nasa 12-14 km/L kung 100-120 kph ang takbo mo. my sorento can even do 15km/L if i discipline my right foot to not go over 110kph*. since halos pareho and specs ng sf and sorento dapat halos pareho din ang fc.

*and some other things syempre, like minimal use of brakes, not accelerating fast, etc.

I agree. As I had observed during our Baguio trip in January -- and that was with Petron Diesel Max not even Unioil -- my Ortigas to Sison, Pangasinan (about 220 kms) run, which was mainly within the 80-120 kph range, only consumed about 1/8 tank of gas. Assuming that 1/8 tank is about 9.375L or 10L na lang, that's 22 Km/L. Of course, this is only as accurate as the fuel gauge, but still, it's a FAR CRY from my city driving averages of 6-7 km/L. Hehehe!

pero mas malala ka sa akin, di umaabot ng 20,000km ang brake pads mo.

dala mo sa banawe, papalitan nila yung sockets and light bulbs. siguruhin mo lang na mahigpit yung mga electrical tape at pag maluwag e baka sablay after a few months. double contact na yung sa akin, pero i have to admit i had to DIY it a few times due to loose electrical connection and loose contacts in the sockets. actually kayang-kaya i-DIY yan, pero why pa kung minimal lang naman labor cost. kung gusto mo sigurado ang gawa e bili ka ng heat shrink insulators para di luluwag yung wires.

yan double contacts pero di naka-on ang brakes.

also notice that the signal lights and backing lights are reversed. i interchanged the big signal lights and small backing lights and then installed a 55 watt phillips bulb. result is by backing light is now super bright. result, may head light ako sa likod, super liwanag pag umaatras sa gabi.
