Ano ba normal engine temp natin? Mine kasi exactly nasa kalahati nung guage. Not sure if that is normal kasi sa ibang cars ko medyo nasa baba nung 1/2 ng guage. TIA

    Normally, a little below one-half...

I-monitor mo iyan bro,- kung hindi naman tumataas, then you should still be okay.

    Ganyan ba iyan originally?

it could be a matter of calibration.

if the needle stays at that same point over a long period of time while driving on normal road and load condition then it's normal. abnormal if it will start to rise beyond that.

Actually 3 beses ko pa lang siya nagamit at napansin ko lang yung temp niya on my 2nd use. Went to my province this morning with our GS (Antipolo - Tanay - Morong - up to Laguna). The needle stayed in the middle the whole time. Observe ko na lang yung temp for the next few weeks.

*skyflakes. Sana naman walang prob. Sakit sa ulo to pag defective yung cooling.

Aside sa temp, enjoyed driving my GS through the mountains of Rizal and Laguna. Lakas ng hatak.

My GS temp goes in the middle when i drove it up to Baguio, but when we stop for a while while idling bumalik na sa sya below 1/2. Guess it was because of spirited driving at Kennon Road.

First time ko siya na notice is when we went for a Drive in Katipunan. Relaxed driving sir with max speed of around 50kph kasi kinakapa ko pa yung lapad ng GS. The temp was in the middle of the gauge and it stayed steady on that the whole time.

Please take note that what we have is a fan clutch, and so it wears down little by little...

probably calibration lang yan ng needle ng gage. that needle can be made to point wherever you want it to point kasi, nakatusok lang yung center nun and held by friction. take a picture of the gauge when it is off, tapos compare mo yan sa ibang GS na naka-off din. kung mas mataas yung position ng needle kesa sa iba then yun na yun, mas mataas lang ang "zero" nya. ang important e same travel siya, like kung 35 degrees from zero to normal. ask ka ng ibang tsikoteers to approximate the degrees the needle travels so you can compare with yours.

Haven't experienced that on my GS pero sa Tucson namin meron konti galing din Hancars. Pero before madami ako nakakasabay na meron ng moist sa headlight.
