btw, anyone interested sa leatherette seats? di ko pa nagagamit, standard leatherette design, walang arte as in seatcover lang, perhaps if you have anything of equal value that you want to trade in
Ayoko na gamitin kase iinit lang lalo sa loob, i'm okay with my current seatcover

    Good morning to all,

Update ko lang kayo sa jazz ko, a 1.5V taffeta white 2012.
Already done 1000 PMS no charge since checking lang ang ginawa nila with free car wash. Yesterday my fuel consumption 15.8KM/L with 94.7KM traveled 10 km barangay road then the rest Highway na (STAR/SCTEX). (Tanauan home to Alabang Festival, Vice versa) with 2 adults and 2 kids.

Today FC's. 15 km/l From home to work 10.9 km traveled, (Barangay road a very humpy route more than 25 humps), =<

    Love the paddle shift,

    Regards to all,

cris26, wow, inggit ako. yung current FC ko 9.5km/l lang, 200+km traveled. Home-office travel ito, Fairview-Mckinley, with C5 traffic. I guess malaking factor talaga ang traffic sa FC. Ang pinakamataas ko pa lang na nakukuha na FC is 13.9 km/l, early morning drive in c5. Sana totoo na mag-improve pa after ng 1k check-up.

Guys, I was checking and comparing the fuel consumption of the 2011 Hyundai Elantra (1.8L) and 2009 Honda Fit (1.5L) using the EPA ratings. I was surprised to find out that Elantra has beaten the Fit/Jazz in terms of FC considering it has a bigger engine at 1.8L and bigger body. Here's some info:

    * Miles Per Gallon (MPG)
    Elantra (1.8L) = City 29, Combined 33, Highway 40
    Fit (1.5L) = City 28, Combined 31, Highway 35
    Civic (1.8L) = City 25, Combined 29, Highway 36

I was supposed to get the Jazz but when I saw the upcoming Elantra, it looks very good with excellent FC.

PS: It's probably the transmission * 6 speed A/T of the Elantra that made it save more in terms of FC.

You cant count on those figures since fuel consumption would still depend on the local road conditions. Better take the figures from local owners itself, atleast you'd get a good estimate on what you should expect from the two.

hi CoachLC, sabi sa previous threads and based on experience na din, ayaw ng GE natin yung pakonti-konting gas...kulet noh...yung P200-300 fill up wont even move the fuel tank needle. you may try fuelling it up half or full (until the pumps stops).

just to share...25ltrs pa-gas ko palage (shell premium 95 ron for extra hatak). I wait until the fuel indicator lights up or minsan until nag-zero na yung Range. before filling up, I record my trip then reset my trip meter. While gas is filling, I check yung Range meter kung ilang KM yung itatagal ng 25ltrs ko, which usually gives me 280-300km based on reading. After filling up, tire check naman. 34 front/32 rear. then soon as I get driving, may nadagdag na KM, umaabot na ng 340km. most of the time I'm stuck with the Range meter + yung moving bars (the challenge is to keep all the bars showing..hehe)...dyan ako nakabantay. medyo may pagka-OC, but it helps me to keep my cool in terms of with my driving habits and eventually save gas.

so far i'm happy with the results
    total mileage: 6000+km
    ave FC (meter reading): 11.1km/ltr
actual FC: 10.35 (10-15% off with the meter reading)
    ave tank distance (25ltrs): 258km

then I post my fuel log at this site:

Mga Sir's, baka may kilala kayo SA na maayos kausap. Paki post na lang dito SA name n contact. I prefer Honda Alabang, Manila or Cavite. I live in Binan Laguna pero nadala na kami makipag deal with Honda Laguna branch.

    Marami pong salamat...
