I dont know much of cars, but we, my wife have an Jazz 1.5AT and she absolutely loves driving her new baby and I was comfortable enough sleeping at the passenger side (lolz), my wife fell in love with the jazz at first site, she did not want to look at any other car after seeing it at the dealer...

too bad that the Fiesta did not go out last August, if it did, my wife would probably have some second thoughts, maybe ... he he

*Jom's, Jecoism, Albee - sorry for not clarifying, it was under powered, parang hirap yung sasakyan, maybe because it was a 1.3AT? Also, matagtag sya kahit sa mag kalsada ng MoA.

Good if the 1.5AT is much powerful (logicall, should be--what am I thinking ), I hope the ride will be much smoother para yun na talaga makuha namin by next year, unless um-ok pa ang user experiences ng Fiesta e.g. FC, etc. FC kasi mejo di pa ganun kaganda 8-9km/liter pa lang,

I really have nothing against the Fiesta. Honestly it looks good. I dunno if it performs better than the Jazz since I haven't test driven one. Only 2 downsides that I can think of:
Non-lockable Fuel Lid and the small cargo capacity..

I can think of more downsides with my current Jazz than the Fiesta but since this really has been my dream car, I can live with it.

Hopefully, I could try a 1.5 one. I may be able to live with the Fuel Lid and Small cargo. What I am waiting now is if Fuel Consumption will be anywhere near the Jazz, and some other quirks that only time can tell.

The Jazz has been my number 1 choice eversince I decided to have my own car. But now, I'm waiting if the competition is really a competition. If not, at least I will have used some time to wait for some facelifted/new colored Jazz. So antay antay lang.

Anyway, sir Albee, I love the look of the Jazz, it's FC, it's cargo space, being a mini utility vehicle, being a Honda. I am sold.

But what are the main downsides with your Jazz? TIA

I believe yung cargo light on/off is triggered by it's own switch sa hatch separate sa mga doors sir. Yung switch/lens combo na ito para may option i-off yung ilaw sa cargo (specially pag umaga,) at matagal nakabukas yung hatch... This lens is exactly the same as the stock pero meron lang sariling switch (picture shows stock ge lens above, optional lens with switch below). Salamat.

Hi guys just want to share.

I'm driving 1.3 a/t and always whinning about my FC of 8.5 km/ltr average pure city driving. I was really frustrated and thought that the fuel-efficient marketing of Jazz 1.3 a/t is BS.

But after my 10,000 km PMS, I loaded a fully synthetic oil and viola! I am know enjoying 10-11 km/ltr FC pure city driving! (Marikina to Makati via Edsa [morning] and C5 [after office])

I think my ultra-light-foot modified driving also helps. I don't exceed 2k rpm and drive to office as early as i can. I also plan my route and glide as much as I can. I also avoid racing with taxis and motorcycles. What for? There is no price or throphy waiting at the end of the stop light.

The point is, you can make it economical if you really try. Yes, the Jazz 1.3 a/t can.

WOw ganda ng HU! Yung akin dashkit at DVD HU halatang hindi talaga pang jazz

Oh. Forgot to mention that there's a built in GPS in the HU.

I got stuck in gadawful traffic today along Vito Cruz (Makati Side) going to South Superhighway. I turned to one of those unknown streets and the GPS guided me along beautifully to those inner Makati streets - sidestepping the gridlock traffic & arriving at my destination in the nick of time.

Just to contribute lang sir wongski, the downsides I can think of with my jazz are these:

- noisy plastic materials

Even the top of the line aka the 1.5 a/t does not include:
- fog lights
- center console armrest
- tonneau cover
- ducktail spoiler

currently waiting for my plate. 21 days palang yung jazz ko at nasa 545km na tinatakbo . once a week lang nagagamit. gusto ko na magka plate at ayaw pagamit sakin ng mom ko pag walang plaka .

regarding naman dun sa prob. kong mataas na reading ng odometer at ung tuklap n paint eh di ko pa napapacheck sa casa. sana ilibre nila yung tuklap na paint ko. once na nagpunta ko dun. balak ko sana isabay nalang dun sa free 1000km checkup (dito sa sta rosa laguna, malapit samin). dahil di ko talaga alam san nanggaling yung tuklap na un.

anyway, guys, speaking of bato...kanina while cruising *100kph sa NLEX may tumamang bato sa windshield ko. nagka scratch eh. kahit na maliit lang parang apat na dots naman. ano po bang pwedeng pang alis nito? san makaka bili? na try ko pa lang sa blade pero wala ako nakita. pa ayos na kaya sa bigberts? TIA

ewan ko rin sir. mnsan medyo nacconvince narin ako sa mga friends ko na sakto lang ung reading ng odo ko. but then minsan pag my knkwento ko, parehas kami ng dinadaanan. nagtataka din sila na parang kakaiba nga ung odo ko. hehe. nako nakakatakot naman yun. sana my solusyon dyan sa windshield mo sir. para alam rin namin ano dapat gawin. buti kayo my malapit na big berts na mappuntahan pagnagkaproblema. sana magkaron din nyan malapit samin.

-Yun nga matagtag yung suspension minsan lalo na pag malubak.

-Manipis masyado yung paint pero depende sa pagaalaga

-Yung standard features ng ibang cars like fog lamps, armrest wala sa top of the line

-Stock speakers ok lang yung tunog

-Walang USB-in, iPod-integration, or kahit wala na yung dalawa basta may bluetooth capability

-Magastos kasi masarap bihisan hehe

optiguard paint protection din. meron program bigberts nito. regarding hydrophilic, tanungin mo si sir watusi at meron sya bad experience dyan. sana isolated case lang yun at hindi mangyayari sayo.

siguro sir magandang gawin dyan sa odo test mo sa known distance and compare. try ko nga minsan sakin sa NLEX.

mine is doin 12km/L after 10Km change oil... im using honda 5W30.. tama ka sa 2K or below rpm shifting habit..

hindi standard ang USB plug-in
