Second Gen. Honda Jazz/Fit

I had Nighthawk done my HID with a Retrofit Projector last week. He did a great job. Looks OEM. I am very happy with it. =)



Parts used:
- a clear lensed FXR bixenon projectors with color modification
- philips 85122+ d2s 4300k color bulbs
- apollo shrouds

The light is bright and yellowish in color. The output is wide - good for 3 to 4 lanes - with a sharp blue outline. No glare at all to incoming traffic. Yay!

Before that, I was using a 6000k hid that was just installed directly into my lamp. While it was bright white, the light output was going everywhere and not directed. I hated that the bright white light does not mix well with the usual yellowish light of the other cars - it was distracting both to me and the other drivers. I had to angle the light low to avoid glare to incoming drivers causing the throw of the light to be so short that I couldn't dive safely on the highway. During the rainy months, the white light was reflecting off the rain drops that I can't see the road much. I was actually contemplating to change back to the oem Jazz lamp until I saw nighthawk's post a few pages back on a retrofit projector. I am now a happy camper.

yup i agree and also the ride its not good compared to previous model ng jazz.. ako din pinili ko to compared to other car..pero not really satisfied sa FC and ride.pero okay na din in terms of style

Dinala ko GE 1.3 A/T ko sa Caleruega last Saturday for blessing and break-in na din. Nag average ako ng 12.7 km/l, pero sa city driving di nalalayo sa mga nakuha nyo. I also got around 9-10 km/l las pinas-manila-las pinas on a weekday. Sana nga mag-improve pa to. Pansin ko din pag puno, hirap talaga sa initial push ng acceleration.

But in terms of style, agree ako sa inyo sa gwapo factor kahit stock. It really is a looker considering na almost 2 years nang out and 2nd Gen. na Jazz, may kumakapit pa din na mga tingin lalo na pag squeaky clean tafetta white (biased po). Hehehe!

I just got mine last Wed, pero ibabalik ko agad sa Shaw, di maganda pagkakalapat nung tint sa wind shield, dami bubbles... kainis!

Try mo sa Honda Makati, pero alam ko madami sila Alabaster Silver. Then sa Alabang, meron din pero Taffeta White lang meron.

Dami pala tiga Cavite dito

anyway ako cavite-makati-cavite my average for a week period is 12-13 kms per liter. If you compute it 250-280 pesos ang daily consumption ko ng gas, not bad considering yung traffic sa cavite and makati.

And regarding dun sa Gauge, naexperience ko sya one time nag fuel warninng na ko then naglagay ako 200 pesos pero di talga nawala yung ilaw. even 500 hindi rin, nung nagpa full tank lang ako saka nawala..

Ganun b talga ang GE natin? or need ko rin pacheck?

ganyan din akin.. don't worry kasi sa gauge natin nakalagay 1 km range nalang tatakbo pa yan kahit 3 kms. but don't get used to that..(bad habit)...

Geniune honda backup sensor ba yun sa yo? Honda salesman says there is no 4 point sensor for the new jazz. Saan dealer ka bumili?

Sir depende sayo IMO. I tried Shell super unleaded pero hindi ko type parang ang hina ng hatak and ang baba ng FC ko, then I switched to Petron XCS mas ok sha in my experience, better FC din.

sir noob question, kapag ba mataas ung number sa FC meter mo mas tipid sa gas or kung mababa mas tipid??

Mas mataas mas matipid. More kilometers made per Liter. Now if use the L/100KM method (sa mga Commonwealth countries they use this) then lower is better meaning you need less liters to make 100 kilometers.

Not Honda genuine Sensor Sir & for the 4 point sensor type i guess i will not go for it kc di maganda maraming dots sa likod parang awkward na. Pinakabit ko e2 sa "KID AUDIO" here in Biñan. They were known in accessories sa SOUTH area just like "dz racing" in banawe.

Same observation here, ang pinakaunang kinarga ko Shell unleaded din dahil yun ang katabi ng Honda Shaw. Medyo di nga maganda hatak. Sige, try ko Petron XCS. Salamat sir Jeco.

I'll be getting my unit, according to my SA, at the end of the month. Question, should i have the fog lamps installed in the branch or outside na lang? Could i get the same fog lamps outside for a cheaper price?

Fellow GE owners, 6-CD ba yung in-dash radio natin? Kasi I've read before ako bumili dati about it. Then nag try ako kanina mag insert ng discs it seems isa lang yung pwede or may technique sa pag pasok ng CDs?
