September 16th, 2010 10:37 AM #22Not recommended in Philippine roads since driving conditions are severe (mostly dusty and polluted air, stop and go traffic). There are also some engines that require more frequent oil changes (ex: 3ZZFE engine of Corolla Altis) or else gelling or sludging is very likely to occur.

September 16th, 2010 03:44 PM #23Trade secret sir :-) But be sure to use the "FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL". not the hydrocrackd, synthetic fortified or synthetic blend oil. Those are not Fully but only semi.
You can check the specs in the internet wether its PAO or PAG based. These 2 are the common fully synthetic oils used.. There are famous brand in the market who are misrepresenting their oil as Fully Syn but its not.

I have tested it thru Used Oil Analysis. Many times :-) Im not saying that its fixed na 40kms. Maximum yan for the oil we used. The result even says that the oil is still fit for further used. But no need to extend, sobrang malaki na savings nun. Mainip ka na lang.
Ka change oil ko lang at 38k KMS. last month on my diesel engine service plus tune-up from the casa. The oil is still ok, hind pa oxidized as witnessed by the mechanic when he opened the engine valve cover ;-) .
Kumikinang pa yung oil na naka lubricate sa engine :-)

September 16th, 2010 04:18 PM #27Fyi, Average change oil is 30k plus kms. on all of my previous cars . KIA PRIDE, Totyota tamaraw FX, Ford Ranger & Nissan Exalta. And now, with my Isuzu Crosswind and Honda JAZZ :-)
I just want to share some saving tips. Yun lang :-)
Sayang din kasi, Sobrang mahal kaya ng 100% Fully Synthetic Oil ( arouind Php 600 to 1000 per liter ).
Just be sure lang na 100% yung ginamit mo. Pag Semi, Synthtic blend/fortified and hydroracked. twice the original mileage lang :-)
Thanks !

September 17th, 2010 05:57 AM #30huh di nga sir? controversial ata to ahh... you mean matagal na tayo niloloko ng honda and any other oil company na sinasabi nila na ang oil nila is fully synthetic? yun pala half mixed lang? hmmm... fishy to ahh...
ano ba sir ang engine oil na gamit nyo na certified full synthetic?
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
