I used Royal Purple 10w40 last time. Got it * Speedyfix. Doon sana ako mag change oil pero wala oil filter for my ZC. Hinanapan pa nila pero wala. I ended up just buying the oil there and had the oil change done elsewhere. di ko tuloy na avail yung 2.5k na promo.

Sir Honda VTECLEV Motor Oil has a Fully Synthetic Variant, the one with the gold label. Is honda's claim true? That it's fully synthetic? It cost 2,240 php sa casa (honda SPA mindanao ave) when I changed oil for my 70K PMS.

If it's not, we all got ripped off.

BTW how long is the shelf life of synthetic oils, let say from the date of manufacturing?

Guys, I've been using Mobil1 Since i bought my Honda Civic Vtec 12 years ago and I have no complains about it..just this week, I tried the HONDA LEV Fully Synthetic oil posted by a dude name Andrew a Chinese looking guy who met me in Burger King Welcome Rotunda..so far I am using the Oil and my car still runs smooth...for a fee of Php1300.00 One gallon + Oil Filter for Honda Civic..it was a pretty good deal..I will try this oil and compare it to Mobil 1 performance.
Did you know that Mobil 1 technical data reflected that you can run 100K Km from it and they have proven it...I misplace the brochure that I got from Mobil1 to where the info came from,it is a Product brochure of Mobil 1 Products.
On my Honda, what I did to have a long mileage ( 1 year of constant travel) On my simota racing filter I put a secondary synthetic fiber filter on the tube prior putting the element, guys it make the cold air coming it filtered and it helps to save your engine oils from contaminants and you can maximize your oils whether it is Mobil 1 or ordinary oils. you can observe it via the oil dip stick monitor.Oil was turning black, it will be just a light brown color...try it..been doing it since I bought m honda..

mga sir, I have a source for Mobil 1, 10w-40, 5w-30, 10w-30 and 0w-40, it's fully synthetic, it's original from US. I've used it on my old car, nasa pampanga kase yung bote kaya di ko na matandaan kung ano nga viscosity na ginamit ko, it's for 550 pesos only per liter, naghanap nako sa iba 690 pesos sya. may mga fake daw neto sir and they say some are selling it for 460-500 pesos per liter, na fake na po ako nung first time ko bumili ng mobil 1(shell helix kase ako before), 0w-30 nabili ko, 470 each, nangyari tumakaw lumamon ng gas yung kotse ko, oil started to leak on the seals, siguro nga po luma na seals ko, pero pumanget(as in di na kasing lakas humatak ng dati, parang mabigat to think na 0w-30 sya) andar ng kotse ko, so I changed oil nalang kagad to helix again and repaired the oil seals, then my friend told me na meron nga sya mobil 1, at first I thought it was the same fake one, I told him my experience, pero yun nga, to think na more than 20 years na nilang business is importing goods from the US, I tried it, and it's really different, that's why I can guarantee you that this one is not. if you're interested you can PM me, i'll ask yung friend ko if may stock sya, kababata ko kase yon and their business is importing goods from the US, vitamins, perfumes and Mobil 1 oils for gas and diesel, even ATF and power steering fluid as I remember, but so far oils, perfumes and vitamins lang binibili ko sa kanya. right now, my jazz is under warranty kaya stick muna ako sa HONDA LEV to get that extra 1 year warranty sa engine, pero my 19 year old corolla with 233k mileage, which up to now no overhaul has been done, and it was checked up last month by toyota Makati, even the toyota guys asked if it's already overhauled, kase wala pa raw singaw sa compression pagka check nila, sabi nga nila sulit na sulit na raw yung makina, basta in my experience, alaga lang sa oil, kahit mahal tatagal naman ang makina mo, it would save you a lot.

onga pala sir, eto pala ginagawa ko dun sa corolla, 1year no change oil, but on the 7th month, I change my oil filter, and kung ano man yung nagkulang, sample yung oil na nasa filter, or yung tumulo nung pinalitan yung filter, I just replace it with new oil(pero mobil1 parin) kase may sobra naman lagi na .5 liter everytime I change oil.

onga pala sir, one thing I've noticed, before kase shell helix full syn din ako, nung nagpalit ako to mobil 1, ambilis lumamig ng makina ko, sample, your car is in normal operating temperature, that's half the temp gauge ng corolla ko, once I stopped, and left the car for 20mins na di umaandar, pagka start ko ulit malamig na kagad sya, yung temp gauge is nasa first line na ulit, not totally cold ofcourse, tsaka mas tahimik lang makina dahil siguro madulas sya. although I can't say anything wrong with shell helix na full syn, i've used it for years too before mobil 1, iba lang talaga na experience ko nung na peke ako na mobil 1.

Difference ng helix with mobil 1 in my experience, mabilis lumamig mobil 1, pero sa andar ng kotse at ingay ng makina, pareho lang, pero eto mas malaking difference po nila, price, hehehe! 2,565 pesos yung helix, 2,200 lang yung mobil 1.

sir, pwede ko bang gamitin ang oil ng DIESEL engine ng innova d4d for my honda vtec-gasoline engine, palitin na kasi ang oil fan gasket ng honda ko kaya may leak na, low level na kasi, this week ay dalhin ko na sa mechanic to change the gasket.

Pwede kayang pang reflenish muna ang oil ng diesel engine to my honda sobra kasi ito last time na nagpa change oil ako sa toyota, buti na lang at hiningi ko ang sobra, kundi mo pala hingin sa casa ang sobra ay hindi nila ibibigay yun, ang dami pa naman. Thanks po
