:hysterical:

dito talaga sa pinas maraming mayayabang. pero for a fortuner and a montero. il go with a pajero field master instead. pajero is a pajero.
yeah mostly i encountered on the streets that are assuming themselves as "typical richboy" are those black monteros and fortuners with a 20 inch chrome wheels. buti pa yung mga naka hummer,LC,pajero, escalade. bihira lang sa daan pero sobrang rare din ang mayabang na driver. Pero may mga mayayaman na simple lang. using an ordinary vehicle. hindi bulgar. pero deep inside. sangkatutak ang negosyo at assets. just like my neighbor. riding an isuzu crosswind. pero ang status nya in life is siguro same with those who owns a v8 landcruisers.
Parang sinabi ko few pages back, I had a client na sobrang dami niyang properties worth 10-25M each. Revo DLX lang gamit niya with driver.
Rich people doesn't need to show off. Hindi naman nila kailangan inggitin yung mga tao by showing them how much they're worth by bringing their expensive cars all day.
Yung mga naka-bili kasi usually ng mga SUV's na ganyan, first time makabili ng kotse .. or atleast an SUV. Kaya kelangan nila ipagyabang to show na "hey naabot ko na yung ganitong lifestyle! beat that!"
Or not to attract the attention of the BIR...hehehe jk jk jk :D
Bitch Please! then a BMW suddenly enter the shop also, 320i ata yun with matching diplomatic plate pa, ang nakakawindang pa, it was driven by youngster siguro kasing edaran ko lang ata yun o matanda lang ng onti sa akin, 20's or 22's.
Then a carwash boy shouted at him na parang tropa lang sila "ser! tinakas mo na naman yan BMW ng erpat mo, lagot ka na naman, hahaha!!!!"
then the boy replied: "ahhaha..!!! legal na to, me permiso na ako, nagpalit muna kami ni ITAY, sa kanya muna CR-V ko".
then yung mag-inang naka-Fort nakatulala lang sa kanya, feel'n amazed. whatta shame ang bilis ng karma dun sa magnanay. and at the end I feel good because I didn't do anything. parang yung binatang naka Bimmer na ang gumanti para sakin, hahahahha!!!!
:hysterical:
Actually, wala naman masama sa paggamit ng kotse ng parents or magkaron ng kotse na galing sa parents as long as you don't boast about it.
From the looks of it, mukhang kilala na yung naka-BMW dun sa carwash kasi inasar na siya eh. At least the kid knew how to take care of the car -- by taking it to the carwash maski tinatakas niya lang. :rofl01:
I'd engage in a staring competition. Hahaha.
Hahahaha.
OT: In fairness, baka naman may lakad or galing sa byahe yung pamilya at dumaan lang sa car wash before heading to their final destination. I have done it 3-4 times myself. Bonding moments din especially with my kids. While they watch the car being cleaned, they learn a thing or two about why something they take for granted should be taken cared of from time to time.
As for their reaction, I admit I was not there. But then again, I think we're being a bit too judgmental towards the family, especially since we're not even sure what they are talking about. Dishing out derogatory remarks without basis is going overboard. We're better than this.

That's a good way to put it in terms of assets. Houses and cars are just secondary when you have buildings, warehouses, rest houses, and properties abroad (HK, Canada, US). Some would still have the flashy, latest model cars and classics while others will just have your regular Juan cars (Innova, Revo, Corolla). Cars will never distinguish who has more of the better things in life really.
There's nothing wrong with buying one.Just get what you want because you want it and be happy; nothing to prove to others. Tulad ng dun sa problem with some SiR owners (that's why this thread came about), it's the attitude of the owner/driver. Kahit naman naka BMW M3 or Ferrari ka, or naka Jaguar at maraming body guards pero balasubas yung ugali mo, will you command respect?

Haha lol, Yeah, i get to borrow dad's diplomatic bimmer on some days only. if... i do some errands for him like bringing it in for tune up, emission testing. fetching mom or sister etc... or if he wants to use my car when he goes incognito. As much as i enjoy driving it i can't stay late at night with it nor drive it very far from homerest assured, i never use the diplomatic plate to abuse any traffic laws (the last thing i would want is to get into trouble in my dad's car) although i do enjoy the rwd feeling of the beemer compared to my civic.
Pwedeng ganito ang mga SALN:
SALN 1:
- Civic SiR
- XRM
- Ipad
- Iphone
vs.
SALN 2: (probably where most of us will be)
- SUV or AUV (bahala na kayo mag fill in the blanks)
- sedan
- House and lot
- Retirement vacation house, or condo for investment purposes or for the kids to start off at.
vs.
SALN 3:
- Toyota Camry
- Toyota Innova
- House and lot or condo unit
- Allowances from business; pero hindi sinasabi na yung business is a holding company to various corporations in which it has ownership to a house in Forbes, Corinthian Gardens, Tagaytay Highlands, clubshares, warehouses in Bulacan or Cavite, a building in Binondo and San Juan, a Range Rover, Audi A6, BMW 3 Series, etc. They'll also have various documents in their SDB containing ownership to properties in Canada and the US, along with the agreements to relatives/dummy owners.
Same story with you bro.
Happen to me months before ko nkuha yung bagong Starex ko.
