Honda SIR - why ang daming haters?

I asked that people chill because looked at what you did.

When the mod already said his side of things, the thread was quiet. There were no further attacks made.

If you actually made formal mature complaint, said that "no, we are not like those people you mention, we do not condone illegal racing, yabangan, rezing rezing etc.., We'd like to invite you to our weekly EB so we can show you what we are about and get to know each other better" then people might have apologized, you might get new people to go to that EB, meet new friends and this misunderstanding would be all over.

But no, you come in guns blazing. Throwing out attacks and invites for EB. Who'd in their right mind would go to that EB, they'll only get what you guys have been showing here. Attacks and pataasan ng ihi.

I don't condone what happened here but frankly you guys just made it worse.

no disrespect to you sir... however, i think that its quite hard to do this when we have attacked behind our backs, our characters assasinated when we really have not done anything against any of your members... i am a moderator for JDMU. and keeping track of each member is humanly not possible... however, to be prejudiced, maligned and insulted by the way we look is quite unfair. we did not come here looking for trouble, we want to understand why we have to be judged as such....

we are like you and you like us whether we like it or not... we are supposed to be car enthusiasts but some of the posts made by some of the members here have provoked this. from the beginning, JDMUnderground did not advocate street racing but rather participate in legal events... even if you check with the organizers, we are quite active in motorsports as such is our culture... but to generalize a whole because of the actions of one is totally unfair to the community...

so if there had been or will be other untoward incidents involving any of our members, please let me know personally and i would address that publicly if you want... but at the same time, i would also like that you extend us the respect due us as fellow car enthusiasts...

as with you guys, who does not want this "misunderstanding" to end? but when it does, i do that it is beneficial to both parties and not just tsikot... i had reservations in even posting here since it would just blow up the issue further... however, we are also requesting that the involved members of your group apologize for the personal attacks done unfairly to our members as they had not been directly involved in this issue.

Boss sorry for the misunderstanding. I was not definitely referring to you. Was referring to the mayayabang na mga SIR owners daw and the mayayabang na posters in this thread na nilalait ang mga inosenteng tao na walang kinalaman sa usaping Ito.

*KM308, your points (post #1304) are well taken and it's good to see someone trying to send a message aimed at pacifying rather than aimlessly increasing the fire To reiterate what iceblueyes pointed at, if you read the pages after the warning of the moderator, his request was heeded until guys barged in and threw more fuel to the fire which is pretty much inviting more trouble. With my experience in moderating sites before, if people were really concerned on keeping the peace and sending a message across if they are offended, Private Messages to the people concerned would have been the first thing, and the more educated and diplomatic thing to do as this has worked time and again. I actually was oblivious to this thread already until i saw it trending on the latests post list.
