I respect the owners of the SiR na yung mga stock and clean look, mas maganda tignan and mas disciplined ang mga drivers ng all stock.

not being boastful or anything, i currently own a 95 eg hatch with b16eg on it, a not so old 4x4 diesel pick up and an automatic vios 1.3. yes it gives me a smile when i drive my hatch which i built from ground up and i admit it sits quietly in my garage most of the time unless "the need" arises. but still i will choose either 1 of my 2 units over my hatch ANY TIME OF THE DAY. comfort driving, no irritating exhaust pipes and best of all a drive anywhere vehicle with a good AC system.

given a chance, yes i will buy an SiR, but with the same dilemma as everyone else, its like looking for a needle in a haystack in finding a well-kept stock unit. Why will i buy? to earn money! im seeing numerous sellers pricing their SiR's 400K+ up. as long as its well built with meticulously chosen parts then it's a steal. huyagin mo lang yung mga pyesa and sell them seperately plus sell the bare SiR unit in a much lower price, i'm sure it will be like pancake.

now with those pedal to the metal type of people who drives an SiR like a cray, i will even salute you if i see you winning the races in the strip, not in the streets flaunting your shining shimmering LCA's, tie bars, subframes and s h i t s. hindi kayo gagwapo dahil dyan. naalala ko yung kwento ng kaibigan ko. he's driving a bare stock SiR (which is for sale BTW lol) when suddenly, an idiot, driving with the same car model, without rear bumper, sporting s h i t t y under-chassis copy bars and revving like hell, cuts him off and showing off his crazy driving skills. nainis yung kaibigan ko and tinutukan yung wannabe racer while sewing the road and when he saw an opportunity, tinabihan nya yung wannabe racer tapos tinitigan nya then he floored away. nakita nya sa rear view mirror nag menor na daw yung idiot driver.

see? not because your SiR is souped up you will have bragging rights! every after market part has a purpose. hindi lang yan palamuti sa oto. kung copy naman wag nalang. ipang-gas mo nalang yan baka makarating ka pa sa mga gusto mong puntahan, hindi yung paikot ikot ka lang sa area mo para iparinig yung vtec mo sa ibang tao.

i think that is what happens to most, if not all cars in general, power and handling is inversely proportional. let's leave the exotics out of the list coz they are on a league of their own haha. yea agree with the s2k having low power and low torque, oh well that's is how the engineers designed the engines, low power,low torque high rpm a bit similar to big bike engines.

no, i had a wrx and STi, my wrx was pushing 350whp and 11.2sec 1/4mile and handled pretty damn well. on my STi wasn't able to dyno it so i don't know the exact hp but i'm sure it was faster than my wrx and still handled much better than my wrx with just STi pink spring, 35mm sway bars on the front and with stock tires. now my brothers c63 tuned to 550whp with stock suspension and still handles pretty well.
