I have always believed that tsikot is one of the premier automotive forums in the Philippines as well as one of the pioneers of the local automotive scene… I have always held this organization in high regard as it serves as an outlet for good automotive discussions.

However over the past couple of days, my high regard for this organization has taken a drastic turn because of the several foul comments attacking my community. The thread was about the SIR and the negative impression that its drivers had created. This is a stereotype as well as a general impression. But if you are to review the thread in its entirety, this is no longer about the SIR nor is it even about Honda. But rather a straight out attack on a group of people whose motives and objectives are very similar to the tsikot forumers.

I have been an automotive enthusiast for as far back as I remember. And one of the first things that I have learned is to appreciate anything and everything regarding the automobile. There are no bad builds. Just builds done badly. The reason I joined automotive forums is for the purpose of me learning more and adding to what I already know. And in return, I would also want to impart what I have learned over the years.

I do not drive an SIR. I own a humble Toyota Liteace. However, I am also a veteran of several autoshows, a participant in legal motorsports such as National Slalom Series and Circuit Showdown. I am also an avid old schooler and one of the moderators of JDMUnderground. And what I do not understand is why I have been labeled for what I look like rather than what I could share for the betterment of the automotive scene. I have been labeled in your forum as a "butete" and the rest of us as vagrants and eaters of dried fish. We have been prejudged as destitute and people who seek attention. What does have to do with the car? I thought we were supposed to be automobile enthusiasts?

I may not have the supercars that some of you may have. But I have been fortunate enough to have been given a good education. And my only plea is to remember and look what brought you to this automotive forum. We have tried to police our ranks when it comes to driving responsibly and try to make sure that we carefully choose those who represent us and carry our stickers.

My only problem is you have already prejudged us and prosecuted us for what we look like and not as what we really are. And you claim to be the educated ones. Looking at appearances is one attribute of a poser. So are you?

Just remember… We promote unity through diversity. What do you promote?

btw, I admire your members and your club, actually your group is more than just a club, its like more on a kind of "MOVEMENT" because of your principle aims to be a community of car enthusiasts not just limited to a certain brand but caters to a diverse group of individuals who love and appreciate one another's hard work and I admire you guys for promoting clean Japanese tuning here in our country, totally a group that I can say in a controlled chaos.

I been ecountered some members of JDMU-PH for twice in some major streets in Manila, once is in SLEX, I characterized that car with a green Te37 wheels with a Tein Mascott/Cartoon stikcer on its front bumper/fender AFAI Remember, ok naman, takbong gwapo lang, obeying speedlimits, though know loaded din yung SiR nun, iba ang tunog e, surprisingly member din pala ng JDMU (as what I saw on his rear windscreen when he overtook me at that time), that guys drives so clean, not offending other motorist, though his SiR is too noisy may be because of the muffs, 2nd time when I was heading at Mall Of Asia, so I'm following this black SiR which also has a sticker in of JDMU in the rear windscreen he turn left at macapagal blvd. the road was so clear, actually he can speed as fast as he want, but he don't, he drive at the blvd. so conservatively, they are JDMU.PH so I guess they don't also tolerate those people na "MAYAYABANG" in their group or even outside their group. One thing for sure, they unleash the power of they cars on the track and not on the street. Am I right JDMU?

just wanna share just today pauwi ako may ganun na naka sir saken from eastwood to crame
gusto niya yata umovertake saken but no signs like high beam or busina man lang kasi mabagal
ako magpatakbo eh (assuming daw sport car ako :D) so ginawa niya rev sya malakas hehehe...
hanap ako magandang pagkakataon na tumabi para naman wala ako masagasaan mahal magpagawa eh
tska alam ko naman mas mabilis yung .40 ko sa kanya ;)

anyway, im no fanboi but i like the SiR look its one of those cars that i admire pero unfortunately i never owned one.

I'm no againts to H people pero i don't like SOME of them saying to other cars na "pang taxi lang yan"
hehehehe sabagay they have their own inputs. I also own a taxi car kasi toyota altis hehehehe.
