My friend is also using Westlake and he recommended that one to me. However, I'm not familiar with the brand so I opted for Yokohama. Is this a China brand?

Yokohama is a Japanese brand but usually their tires are manufactured here in the Philippines.

I just checked and I saw "Made in Japan". This is for Bridgestone Turanza. I'll check Yokohama.

Westlake is Chinese. One of the bigger Chinese tire companies, but still Chinese.

Thank you for this reference. I won't patronize China brands (as much as possible), and I'll go with Yokohama which is locally manufactured here. It could be more expensive but in my small way I am able to help our local manufacturer
