Was able to get a sneak peek at the Brio at the dealer before it is unveiled on the 18th. The doors feel solid when I close them in comparison to other cars in its class. The seating position and the steering wheel made me feel like I was in a go-kart. The steering wheel was chunky although I would have liked an option for a leather-wrapped one. The gear selector for the automatic felt like a giant ball on top of a thin stick. I hope the manual shifter feels better. And the e-brake feels flimsy and similar to a child's toy.

I would like to get a test drive to see if the 100HP can give you that pocket rocket feel.

Is it worth the premium price over the competition? Probably not if all you're after is a car that will get you from point A to point B.

But if it can fill the boy racer or pocket rocket niche; maybe we'll be seeing Brio one-make races not unlike the Vios soon.

1.3 engine.. safety features.. other specs/features.. are all great.. kaso yung design.. price.. I might be wrong kung sasabihin ko ang purpose ng city car/subcompact eh yung makatipid sa gas, relaxed driving.. and yung madadala tayo from point a to point b.. My apologies..

The 1.2 engine is a new engine and its paired with a CVT so it might not necessarily mean na cheaper if 1.2 ang ilagay na engine

Well, too bad.. Is there a chance kung ang gagamitin transmission (current 5 speed AT) ng 1.2 lalo maging underpowered or di maganda yung timpla ng gearing against sa pagiging refined ng CVT? parang lumalabas, kaya instead na 1.2 CVT eh ginamit na lang yung available na 1.3 engine para macompensate ang di pagamit ng CVT?

    Thanks sa paglinaw sir..

Finally got to see the Brio in person and better yet was able to test drive that plus the Amaze. Here are my impressions:

    TOTL Brio AT
+ love the power on this hatch
+ space is just the same as it's competitors like the Mirage, Wigo etc.
    - interior materials feel like cheap plastics
    - only got 9.7KMS/liter on my test drive

    Entry level Amaze MT
    - pedals are in an awkward position. The brake and the clutch pedal are so close together leaving too much space on the left. This driving position will be fatiguing in the long run. Honda should seriously change this.

Nakapag test drive ako sa world trade, both brio and swift.

If you'd ask me, I'll choose the swift instead. I feel that the swift is a more premium car than the brio. yung aftersales service lang ang nagkakatalo sa suzuki.
