Is it noisy at the engine end or the muffler end? If it's the muffler end, that's just your exhaust. If it's nosiy at the engine end, there are a whole lot of things it could be... exhaust manifold leak, improper timing, etcetera... best to have a mechanic check it out, as it's difficult to diagnose it online.

Freeflow muffler = backfire, malakas sa gas by 15%, bawas low end power.
Baka may singaw ang exhaust pipe at lean ang a/f mixture. Manotice mo yan kung lean ang mixture, mas malakas ang hangin na lumalabas sa exhaust pipe kaysa kung rich a/f mixture mo.

If you can look through the muffler and see the exhaust pipe on the other side, that's straight through.

Most performance mufflers have a straight pipe inside, surrounded by sound insulation. Stock mufflers, on the other hand, look like rat mazes, with walls (baffles) that redirect the exhaust and reflect the sound around inside the body (can).
