Yes, definitely worth it. Most of the features of the 1.8E aren't simple add-ons for the 1.8S.
The Smart Key for one is a very useful feature. Aside from the push-button ignition, you can start the car remotely (i.e. have the car running with the aircon on even before you enter - very useful on hot days). You can't get this feature retrofitted onto a 1.8S.
The digital gauge is also a nice feature that isn't available on the S. Again, this cannot be an aftermarket upgrade. Then there's the 60/40 rear seats and cruise control that also cannot be upgraded easily.
You also get native Android Auto and Apply Carplay. Aftermarket head units with this functionality are quite expensive (30k and up including adapters and installation). LED headlamps are very useful too - it'll cost you 20k to get the stock halogen projectors retrofitted with HID.
Local reviews of the 1.8S have the same conclusion - go for the 1.8E instead.

I’m up for my 40K PMS next month with around 6K mileage, just want to ask fellow owners who had 40k done, is this quotation ok na? That fuel filter is so expensive, ganito ba talaga yun?
I have scratched out the air filters and brake cleaner, which will total to around P11,300. Thank you for your insights!

sean-archer, Vann-O, StockEngine, jut703, thanks for the inputs! Definitely made my choice easier. Hopefully the dealers have units ready to release.
Hi! May I ask what product are you using to remove windshield and windows watermarks. Thank you[emoji16]
