Thanks sparkfly for your positive and negative experience on the Jazz! Actually, natest drive ko na sya and napansin ko lakas nga ng hatak. Nagulat nga ako naging 100kph na sya in seconds. Very powerful nga sya pero ang comparison ko kasi is my vios na 1.3. Ang nagustuhan ko dito is the legroom, sobra laki nga talaga. Plus dami options for the cargo space. I haven't tried driving the mazda3, napansin ko lang na almost parehas ang price nila. I also did check ecosports since magkakarange sila ng price. Kaso ang ayoko lang sa ecosport is the legroom, napakaliit. Laki talo ng ecosports sa jazz in terms of legroom sa likod. Kaya kasi mahalaga legroom kasi aside sa day to day car, magiging family car din sya for four during weekends. Then of course, im looking for a good FC.

Ung mga negative things na nasabi mo, sa tingin ko ok lang un. Madali naman mag lock manually plus ung horn upgrade na lang after the warranty. Sayang lang at ndi kasama ung projector and HID sa totl nila. Natry ko nga din pala umupo dun sa hump sa gitna, masyado nga sya naka-angat, but still overall i still like the jazz, mahal nga lang talaga. Siguro konti sales talk pa sa akin regarding jazz, at ndi na ko mag dadalawang isip.

Ok, in case jazz kunin namin, ndi ko na din papalagay ng additional undercoating.

why not get toyota innova d4d if you are looking for space, thriftiness, and a family car? or the base model Kia Carens. almost the same price range

Goodluck on your choice! Puro 2.0 dala ko for years. Yun lang comparison ko ng acceleration and speed. I drove my sister's Vios before. Lamang niya over the Jazz is the smaller turn radius. Fiesta and Ecosport din una kong tiningnan. Grabe naman sa sikip ang Fiesta and the looks of the Ecosport... well. Ang liit din nga ng space sa backseat and cargo. Rav4 was my former car for 13 years. Fun factor ng Jazz is similar to that Rav. If I get the Ecosport, feel ko nadowngrade ako. Hindi ko naramdaman yun sa Jazz even though my ride got lower.

Nice car sir sparkfly! Just curious for your reasons bakit Jazz po kinuha nyo. I was planning to get the VX which is next month pa ang release, but medyo nag dadalawang isip kasi medyo may kamahalan. Kaprice na nya kasi ung Mazda3 na entry level.

Have you also tried na sakyan nyo sya ng 4 passengers? Kayang kaya ba and ndi ba masyado masikip for three passengers sa likod?

Did you also requested to put additional undercoating? or pwede na po ba ung factory undercoat?

Would you know kelan talaga labas ang VX? September ba talaga? I'm about to buy the P808K version this week kasi ang tagal pa ng VX.

congrats sa new jazz

having tried the new city (and cvt for the 1st time), iba talaga driving characteristic nila. acceleration is sooo smooth, di mo pansin 100kph ka na pala hahaha. this is one reason i think kung bakit people are usually getting lower mileage than expected. pero if you'll be conscious about speed and acceleration like you do sa regular a/t, mas matipid yan compared to the previous model(s).

also, magandang tint combination ang one shade lighter sa front/rear wind shield (e.g. medium f/r + dark sides). for white units, mas bagay IMO yung regular black tint kaysa yung "magic" tint na mirror-finish sa umaga/liwanag.

3M fx5 on the sides. Fx20 on ws and rear. Sanay din ako sa light tint nun. First time ko magsuper dark. Medyo nasanay na din after a week. Okay lang naman sa akin kita sa loob but I went for super darks for porma. If malabo mata, baka mahirapan kayo sa fx5 on the sides especially when turning or checking side mirrors. Fx20 has good visibility. I'm not sure lang ano effect niya if all windows ganun. I'm sure nandun pa din yung porma ng dark tint and white combination. Go for that nalang.

I remember bago ko siya kunin, nagdadalawang isip pa ko sa white but when I saw it tinted na, naging mas gwapo siya times 3. I saw the other colors on the road and parking lots, medyo mabilis ako nasawa but that's just me. Kanya kanyang taste lang yan. I'm still admiring my car up until now. Really happy with my choice.

I was waiting for the vx din before but when my SA called me up and offered a big discount, nag vx+ na ko. Hehe. Konti nalang kasi difference and I got too excited to get a unit. Nabenta ko na kasi old car ko. For the extra safety of the side airbags and it being the top of the line, pwede na! I just don't like the added passenger side seatbelt reminder but at least me and my companion are practicing proper safety na. The reminder chime is not that irritating compared to other cars na nasakyan ko before. It gives out 5 or 6 slow mid tone chimes every few seconds when your car is running without you wearing the belt.

Some casas said aug lalabas vx, others naman, sept pa daw but not one of them is 100% sure. Pag nilabas nila agad kasi baka di gumalaw vx+.

Would you know kelan talaga labas ang VX? September ba talaga? I'm about to buy the P808K version this week kasi ang tagal pa ng VX.

If you will get the lower than vx variant, I suggest City nalang. Masmaganda porma and better features. Really don't like the trims and mags of the 2 lower variants. Ang layo sa vx and vx+. Go for vx if you've already considered it. It's worth the wait if you really want a Jazz. if di makaantay like me, vx+ na! Just ask for the discount.

For me, sa aesthetics nagkakalayo. Malaking difference sa overall look yung mags and grille ng vx. This is one of the best stock mags i've seen. Usually gumaganda sasakyan pag palit mags pero yung mga nakikita ko na pics sa google na nagpalit for jazz, parang nasira yung look. Sobrang bagay kasi yung stock sa edgy styling niya. The 15" of the V looks bland for me. I also don't like the big matte grille. Medyo nagiging cheap. Bonus na din yung fog lights and side mirror turn signal ng vx. If things like those don't bother you at all, the V will be fine. Performance and space naman same lang. I'll give you an estimate nalang to be fair with my SA. You can get a sticker price discount way above 10k. Depends nalang sa pagnego mo.

Currently, I have a P10K discount which I got by test driving on a special weekend event of Honda. Thanks really sparkfly for explaining point by point. I'm really into VX but will really think if the 100k is all worth it given my limited budget. Will follow your advice on the tint!

note at 5m44s, ini-explain nya problema ng Fit3 hybrid...kasi daw parking nya ay pataas and needs back first ang pasok.
mahina daw torque ng EV mode (w/c is default of hybrid version when starting out).... so problem is kapag apak nya ng Go Pedal
bigla mag-engage ang makina to complement Electric motor....kaso bigla burst daw.... and sabi nya very dangerous!

well that's casa price, which is usually twice the normal. For example, the "OEM" (it's actually AVT brand) GPS DVD headunit for the Jazz GE costs 42k sa casa, similar products cost around 24k outside at may kasama pang backup camera. aftermarket Pioneer headunits with features close to or better than the casa one go for around 15-20k.

if you (really) plan to upgrade stuff in your car eventually, might as well go for the lower variant and "save". otherwise, sulit yung higher variant in terms of casa prices.

V to VX upgrades (estimated casa price):
16 mags and tires - 30k
multimedia touchscreen - 40k
touch panel auto a/c - 20k
smart key, push button start - 20k
paddle shifters - 15k
fog lamps - 10k
side mirror-mounted LED signal - 10k

easily more than 100k value, so sulit na rin. especially the ones you can't get outside the casa like auto a/c, smart key, push button start and paddle shifters.

yung VX to VX+ ang hindi na ganoong kalaki ang difference. still, upgraded nonetheless. I'd probably save that one for future PMS costs.
