Just called my SA. According to her, "dark" talaga ang tawag nila sa medium, and "medium" talaga ang tawag nila sa light. And yes, these three are the only choices for the free tints.

Decided to go with the lightest option for the windshield, and the second/medium option for the sides/rear. The agent agreed din with this choice kasi mas safe nga raw. Medyo nakakabother lang kasi na "dark" ang tawag nila sa medium. Haha.

Ask mo SA mo Sir kung alin yung medium dun sa 3M na inoffer nya.
And if my memory serves me well, yung three options lang na binigay nya yung "Free", other options is magbabayad ka na.

I suggest sir na medium ka nalang, mahirap ipilit ang dark. Compromise ng visibility and porma(or yakman tint purposes)

Just to be safe, isipin mo nalang yung mga tao sa paligid. What if umuulan tapos gabi ka bbyahe, tapos may mabundol ka dahil sa near zero visibility mo.

3M pa rin yung free sakin. And all the dealerships na nagquote sa akin (and I asked about 7 dealerships), 3M din ang inoffer na free

If not, go for color stable (35) or crystalline.

sa kasa pinagkuhanan ko free full tint color stable, fx at security tint series. maga-add lang pag crystalline series na, which is understandable. i opted for CS20 front, CS5 all around, sarap gamitin sa matirik na araw at mainit na panahon, at kung gusto mo ng privacy. kung gabi na, pataliman na ng mata. hehehe. i cannot confidently do backing sa gabi without bringing down the windows. tiis ganda, bagay kasi sa white yung dark tint.

Isa pa pong question, this time regarding comprehensive insurance. The casa quoted 35K (Malayan Insurance) and 30K (Fortune Insurance). OK po ba ito? Parang mahal kasi, especially yung Malayan. This is for the Jazz VX.

I'm considering getting insurance directly from an insurance company. My questions are:

1) Any insurance companies you can recommend?
2) Can I get from any insurance company, or does Honda have a list of "accredited" or "recognized" insurance companies?
3) Are comprehensive insurance policies standard, or ibaiba pa yung terms? Kasi if this is pretty standard, price na lang ang titingnan ko. If they're not standard, what are the things I should look for?

Also, if it matters, I bought the car in cash, so hindi ako dumaan sa bank. Thank you in advance for the help!

naging problema ko rin yang insurance. the best advice i can give you is to canvass via email. eto mga napagtanungan ko mapapansin mo laki ng difference:
mapfre - 31k
in house sa honda - 27k (estimate lang ng SA so it's not official)
fgen - 26k (if i remember it correctly nasa mga ganitong range)
charter ping an - 22k

obviously i went with the cheapest. sa 15 years ko driving, i only needed to claim insurance once. don't know what are the disadvantages with my decision to choose charter since i never dealt with them before, but i guess i'll just risk it. AXA group naman ito connected to metrobank so it should not be that bad.

Re insurance, mine is carfinity, 25k for the v cvt. What i like about it is 2k participation fee lang compared sa 4k daw sa iba.

Nope. Barkada ko yung kinunan ko. I didn't haggle na since dun ko nalang sya pinabayaan kumita. He's a bank manager kasi na magfifinance sana sa jazz ko. Pero nanghinayang ako sa interest kaya kinash nalang namin.
