2014 Honda City (Gen 4)

Na try ko sa iphone, naka pag play naman ng songs. pero usb alone na may songs, hindi pa.

Wala rin ako plan gamitin usb port to play songs kasi ang panget ng head unit ng E variant, hirap i-control minsan nag llag pa. I'd rather use the aux or bluetooth mas convenient sakin.

Hindi dapat masira battery. Plugging your phone to the City's USB port is no different to plugging it to a PC's USB port.

Dapat mag BT pairing muna yung Honda HU with your phone. Afterwards, pwede mo na i-select doon sa HU yung BT as an audio source.

Sir kung im going to use the usb port for charging my iphone ok lang kaya yun? Kasi iniisip ko ano kaya use nitong usb port kung ayaw dn naman magplay ng mga songs sa flashdrive ko. Mp3 format naman.

Ano ba itsura ng HU niyo? Can you post pictures?

Ako basta nasa byahe naka plug iphone ko then naka on bluetooth para handsfree pag may tawag.

Wala naman problem playing songs from flash drive. Pili lang ng source then ayun play na.

Ikaw mag shoulder nun.

I suggest since option mo bank finance, go straight sa bank, submit requirements including quotation from dealer. Then bank will issue PO tsaka ka pumunta sa dealer.

Wag ka sa dealer magpasa ng application for loan. Kaya may DI kasi sila nagbigay kay bank, incentive nila yun from the bank.

Sir baka sa file system ng USB mo. Try mo ireformat tapos select mo na filesystem is FAT32. Nung nagtry din ako saken na naka NTFS ang filesystem hindi mabasa ng HU pero working na nung nireformat ko at ginawang FAT32 ang file system.

Got my car sa honda pasig. Wala D.I. kasi nga sa bank ako dumiretso, if bank financed wag kayo sa dealer magpasa ng autoloan application.

Salamat pards! cge add ko yun later. *cast no shadow *dhisky mejo na-scan ko na yung manual kaninang umaga, na-paired ko na cp ko. Hehe. Nakapag play na din ako ng music through bluetooth pati calls ok na din. And na nabasa ko sa manual, pag flashdrive gagamitin for music, ang supported file lang ay AAC format. Correct me if im wrong.

Sir baka sa file system ng USB mo. Try mo ireformat tapos select mo na filesystem is FAT32. Nung nagtry din ako saken na naka NTFS ang filesystem hindi mabasa ng HU pero working na nung nireformat ko at ginawang FAT32 ang file system.

Thanks pards. Cge try ko yan pero ayon sa nabasa ko sa manual, only AAC format lang daw ang supported sa head unit. E variant yung sakin. Iniisip ko baka sa E variant head unit lang ganun. Pero subukan ko pa din yung sinabi mo pards. thanks!

After trawling google, I finally figured out how to force our HU to sort MP3 tracks in correct order!
It turns out that although our HU's F/W is able to extract ID3 info (track name, # and album art) from audio files, it totally ignores the track# on both ID3 and filename. Instead it follows the order in which the files are registered in the USB drive's file system. Hence the funky sort order.
After using a tool (DriveSort) to rearrange the FAT32 file table, okay na yung sort order ng audio tracks ko doon sa HU!
Pati yung mga folders naka sort na ng maigi.

Dapat nga FAT32 ang format ng flash drive para makapag-play ng music. Nung una NTFS yung sakin kaya ayaw rin mag-play.

Pero ngayon via Bluetooth from iPhone na ako nagpapatugtog para lahat ng music mape-play. Wala nang issue sa compatibility tulad ng sa flash drive.

May tip nga pala ako sa mga naka-iPhone. Pwede nyong gamitin si Siri gamit ang Voice Command button sa steering wheel. Connect your iPhone via Bluetooth, then press and hold the Voice Command button for about 2 seconds. It's called Siri Eyes Free. Ayos 'to para sa safety natin.
