anong gas ang recommended? at saan gas station maganda?

    Will have my tires check.

Will bring the unit sa dealer today para ma check. I will post update.

    Thanks!

^^^ Naka-idling ka ba when you checked on the tachometer? (Tumatakbo ang makina...). Pero, nakatigil ang sasakyan.... If yes, okay lang iyan...

Tyres- okay at 30psi...Am using 32psi for all 4 tyres, just for your benchmark numbers. I think 32/30psi iyon....

+1 on EQ.

    Honda City
The latest Honda City is probably the most intelligently designed subcompact sedan. Ever. Sure its rear end (and especially the taillamp clusters) looks like a BMW’s, but when did looking like a Bimmer become a bad thing? But it’s not a mere copycat, as the trunk lid, the doors, and that whole front end simply bristle with numerous design details that would make big brother, Accord, proud. It’s one small car that almost effortlessly makes you feel rich.

Sa instrument and average ko is 5.4km/l sa manual computation ganun din lumalabas. Pure city driving. I expect 10km/l or higher.

Is this normal pag bago pa lang car mo? How can I improve fuel consumption?

    Thanks!
    Chris

Had my 2009 1.5E, the worst it will register is 9km/L, heavy traffic, city driving, averages always above 10km/L. persently 7K mileage. On highways at 100km/hr( going to baguio), it register 18km/L. Put it to test at nlex and easily reached 180km/hr in very short time(not yet floored). very stable, no vibration whatsoever and you can hardly hear the engine, ganda talaga ivtec. Tried to floor my innova gas, was able to reach 170km, parang sasabog makina, vulnerable sa crosswinds because of it's height probably.

i would always prefer a brand new unit. You never know the risks involved in acquiring 2nd hands

is it true, the fc performance of a brand new car will improve as the mileage increases? my city's fc for city driving is just 8km/L

*cvt: yup naka idling ako. so okay lng pla yun thx.

i just notice kapag slowly ko apakan gas aangat tachometer till #2 then automatic baba agad sa 1.5 tapos pag second attempt mag stay na sa #2 then higher. always po ganun observation ko sa unang arangkada. is that because of drive by wire? dun ko kc nararamdaman na bitin at hindi fun to drive yung city.

*eq: yes i really want to learn to use paddle shifter and gas pedal combo so i can experience fun drive. maybe it takes some practice.

update: pumunta ako sa dealer and they told me its just because of my driving habit. they said to really test it we should full tank and drive on the highway with a computer attached to my car. recommended dw sa 1,000 kilometers check ko n lng pagawa. so they said observe ko lng muna ulit.

last 2 days i reset yung instrument and i average 7k/l n. pero usual 5-6k/l only.

mga sirs OT lng. yung isa kong rim nagasgas medyo malalim tumama kc sa bato. what do u recommend pra maalis yung sugat? temporarily palitan ko muna ng reserve tire. pero gusto ko sna mapagawa yung rim na nagasgas.

    thx

Anyone here who has experienced problem(s) with their City's A/C blower (evaporator)? A friend's blower conked out a few days ago. His City is almost a year old..... Honda 'repaired' it and told him that the culprit was the wire harness...

You can get the LTO for free and some other freebies like 3M full tint, rust proofing, std mats and seat covers... some may even be able to haggle for an alarm or a back-up sensor.

Get the insurance outside of the casa, it's cheaper. They'll convince you to get it from them, but check out threads nalang and find one that you want.

Aside from that and the FC that I feel that pwede pa sanang mas matipid, it's really a good everyday car (I like its ergonomics for the driver).

In a way, it's a flaw on their design. Kasi those cubby holes are really meant for storages... kung malakas mag-echo yung plastics na ginagamit nila, then maybe they could've used a different kind of plastic for the storage compartments.

I wonder what's the difference in their design. Paghinihiram ko yun ibang kotse ng kapatid ko, I also don't notice these rattling sounds... very prominent lang doon sa City.

Tow to the nearest Honda center lang ba ang solution dito?
Or can i bring a Honda mechanic to check the electronics of the immobilizer (to see the error codes)?

Also, covered ba ito ng 3 year warranty kapag defective ang immobilizer?
Won't they blame this due to ondoy?
