2009 Honda City [continued]

Mga sir newbie lng po d2... i got my city 1.5 AT last June 2009... ask ko lng po sna sa mga may same unit po skin kng meron n po b kyo na-eencounter na problem sa car nyo as of now... tnx po =)

Bakit may na encounter ka na bang problema sa ride mo? Hope you can share it with us.

Actually sir sa middle east po location ko kya medyo kwawa yung city ko sa init d2... Bali nsa 30t n yung tinatakbo and good thing wla pa nman lumalabas na problem yung car ko as of now, but i change already my battery after a year... ask ko lng din sir kng gano po b ktagal yung break pad bgo palitan?... slamat po n mrami....

quick questions:

1. kailangan ba alisin bumper para mag replace ng horn?
2. any shop sa east area that you know of that can do this?

I had my stock horns (2 pieces) removed replaced with Stebel.... The bumper was removed. The installer made it look so easy....

Mayroon akong kakilalang installer at sa bahay lang namin dito sa LPC ginawa, bro....

Those shops selling car horns should have expert installers who can do the job for you....

underpowered ba talaga ang 1.5 na city 2010 ?

Personally, I find it okay. It does seem to lack power at low gear at times (sabi daw nila because of throttle lag due to the drive-by-wire but not sure), pero minsan naman okay sya at low gears. Mas nararamdaman ko pa nga yung lag or pagka-underpower ng Gen2 2.0 crv namin. Once you get to he higher revs, wala nang problem sa power.

At 120ps/6000rpm; 14.8Kg-m/4800rpm, I do not see this as underpowered, bro, given its 1110Kg weight....

Perceived "lack of power" (torque) at low rev is inherent in gasoline engines. If you want "power" at low rev, then go for diesel....

We had our City for 8 days now. Its 1.5E. Medyo nagtataka lang ako parang ang lakas sa gas. Nag consume sya ng around 1,700-1,900 vpower within 8 days! Ang natakbo ko is around 205 km. Sa instrument and average ko is 5.4km/l sa manual computation ganun din lumalabas. Pure city driving. I expect 10km/l or higher.

Is this normal pag bago pa lang car mo? How can I improve fuel consumption? Any recommended fuel na gamitin ko?

PS: My group na ba ang mga city owners? Gusto ko sana mag join

You should be averaging about 9Km/L on e10, city driving with your ride, bro...

Medyo malakas iyan sa gasolina... May naengkwentro ka bang heavy traffic during your drive?

depende rin yan sa traffic, driving techniques, under inflated tires, etc

wala naman ako na encounter n heavy traffic usually nga sa loob ako dumadaan or alternate route pra makaiwas sa traffic.

yung regarding sa under inflated tires kc pansin ko lalo n pag malayo parang flat mga tires ko pero pag press ko naman matigas. My wife also notice this. Cguro better pag ipasukat ko. ano ba normal air ng tires natin?

For driving techniques not sure pa if affected. galing ako sa manual na sasakyan. pero for me ayus naman ang drive ko.

OT: nag register na ako sa group http://www.hondacityclubph.com/forums/portal.php pero indi pa ako mkapag post. I think the admin should enable me first? Wala din ako na receive na email notif when I registered.

nabreak-in na ba yan? try inflating the tires to 30psi. also try not to use vpower i don't think it's necessary for your city.
