Last August I almost did but thanks to your site and after some feedbacks from some friends I decided not to go Toyota but instead opted to buy a Subaru Forester 2.5 XT turbo. I have not regretted my decision since then because had I bought a unit last august (with their August promo), then Toyota coming out on September with the free leather seat, free wheel well cover. free etc., I would have shot the sales agent offering me the Fortuner last August. The Forester also performs better than the Fortuner. A promo is a come on. But be sure to ask the dealer to sign on the dotted line before clinching the deal. Depriving the customer what was promised and closed already is quited unfair. They expect overbookings during the promo, and expecting a windfall by not honoring the promise. The mind is conditioned already for the unit with or without the freebees.
