I was once in an accident na din, an MC tried overtaking on my right side (nasa gutter na siya) and it so happens that I was about to turn right. This happenned inside Heritage Park btw. Then yun nabangga niya ako then I saw him fly across my windshield. I immediately went down and asked if he was ok, when he answered in the affirmative dun na ako nagalit sa kanya at pinagalitan ko siya dahil sa ginawa niya.

I guess kapag naunahan ka din nila at nakaramdam sila na pede ka nila hingan dun sila nagiging maangas kaya i make it a point na unahan sila.

Ang di ko maintindihan why these guards and police would take the side of the motorcycle despite the idot being clearly at fault? I don't think it's purely humanitarian, maybe it's because they could sympathize or are motorycycle riders themselves. When I had an accident with a motorcycle kasi, I did not even ask how the guy was, I just asked them to pay for the damages, tapos the police said, teka lang kasi na injure na nga blah blah blah. Nagmukha tuloy ako heartless But the witnesses were all on my side.

It's more of the latter, na sila rin mismo "biker". They sympathize due to Filipino mob/clan mentality.

"Kapwa ko sya biker kaya kampi ako sa kanya! Kahit na siya ang tatanga-tanga magpatakbo!"

Yes, beware of their fellow MC riders kasi once nakakita nila ng fellow MC na involved sa accident kakampihan nila agad without knowing the real story.

A year back a MC hit the taillight of my car while i was waiting for the stoplight to turn green, i went down and the rider was asking for forgiveness. i told the rider sorry but i cant just accept your sorry coz i need to shell out a portion as may participation for my insurance claim. While i was signaling the makati cop to pull over to assist us the rider went back to his bike quickly to runaway. I forced the rider to depart from his MC then behold other MC rider went to his rescue. I didnt even land a hand to the rider and now the other riders are shouting i shoved the rider thats why the MC fell flat on the road. To may dismay, i introduced myself as a lawyer and told them that i will sue each one of them and ask for their i.d. Yun nagsialisan agad leaving the rider that damaged my taillight alone. Then the police came and talk to me na kung puede kalimutan nalang since kawawa daw yun rider coz walang pera pangbayad. I told the officer, look kung ako nakabangga sasagutin ko kasi obligation ko yun. Ngayon siya nakabangga panagutan niya yun nanyari. I called my insurance and ask as to how much do i need to shell ot with the said claim. Umabas kasama participation and deductable nasa 8000+. umiyak yun rider at wala daw siya ganon pera so i told him you leave me with no choice bt to impound you MC until youre fully paid. Isang tawag lang niya sa office nila nagpadala agad yun office nila ng 6000 at sabi hanggang doon nalang daw sasagutin nila. I was able to talk to a gurl on the other line telling her that 6000 is not enough and i still ha e to impound the MC.

"So if you don't ride a motorcycle yet, we suggest you start learning how to ride one soon or else you'll be left behind," Gener added. "Because it's only through riding a motorcycle will you get the true feeling of freedom."

Your brain also gets a taste of freedom, out of your head and into the pavement.

Seriously, though.

blame those who are not doing their job. READ: LTO and Traffic Enforcers
What's the point of blaming LTO when they don't even have the motivation to do their jobs effectively due to crappy wages. That's is why why not approach the problem in a different angle and that is why the government itself should act on this. It's hopeless to rely on a government agency to strictly follow protocols. Their disobedience is just too embedded in the system whether it is already inherent to Filipinos or just mere tolerated for many years. Hell unless you have the capacity to overhaul the whole system.

I have to disagree with this..... the motorcycle industry is earning so banning them is next to impossible.... and it is LTO's job to weed out unqualified individuals to receive a driver's license, but they aren't doing their jobs properly... kaya nga ganito ang lagay ng kalsada natin sa Pilipinas dahil ineffective ang LTO sa paghusga kung sino ang dapat at hindi dapat bigyan ng lisensya.....

Having a low wage does not entitle a person not to do his/her job properly. If they think they are not motivated anymore then resign and work elsewhere. Pero I don't think na mababa pa rin sahod ng mga kawani ng gobyerno kasi as of 2010 ata nag-adjust na ang mga sahod ng lahat ng government employees and comparable na rin if not mas malaki pa kesa private.
