Too many PASAWAY motorcycle RIDERS on the street

Kanina lang, on our way to work. Dito sa loob ng BF Paranaque, along President's Ave going to Sucat Road, bago dumating ng entrance ng Tahanan Village, may isang naka-motor na medyo nakatabi sa unahang kanan ko. I was about to overtake him, but there was a truck coming from the opposite direction. Ayos pa rin, dahil lusot naman ako, and so I increased speed to overtake.

Ang kaso, may nagmomotor na g*gong ung*s na nag-counter flow (meaning on my lane na) attempting to overtake that truck, but without enough speed to clear my lane so that I can pass freely. The truck did not accelerate but didn't give way, so I have to swerve to my right and brake hard enough so as not to hit the first motorcyle, who's doing okay, and to avoid an imminent collision with the second one.... :twak:

Tapos, pagdating sa may intersection sa Sucat Road sa may McDo,- we're go, and I am turning right towards SLEX. Kaso, walang nagko-cross ng Sucat Rd to turn left towards NAIA. There were a couple of motorbikes along Sucat Road, going to SLEX, who crossed the intersection (traffic light is red on their direction)... I have to watch out while turning right on a supposed protected-right-turn scheme, just to be certain that these morons would not hit me....

sanay na nga ako eh. parang normal na nga eh.

everyday me ungas na nagpupumilit sumigit kaliwa't kanan ng walang signal-signal.

minsan halos mapitik ko na likod eh.

minsan naman kahit na gusto kong pagbigyan, hindi naman pwede basta basta at baka pagnag-slow down ako eh banggain naman ako ng nasa likod ko.

isang beses, sa access road sa slex, nagpumilit mag-counterflow ang isang sira-ulong rider.

tapos eh nung me makakasalubong, biglang nagpumilit sumingit sa harap nung kotse na nauna sa akin.

kaso di nagbigay yung kotse, rinig ko yung iyak nung gulong nung rider sa pagpreno!

yung kasalubong sa kabilang lane, iyak din yung gulong! buti na lang malakas ang preno at nakahinto bago ma-head-on yung ugok na rider!

umaatikabong mura ang inabot nung rider na putlang-putla!

would have been a sight kung di maagap yung kotse sa pagpreno.

Talagang pinipilit niyang sumingit sa gitna ng kotse ko at nung VIOS. The rider was almost ready to make an attempt to get past between us. NOTE na nakapamewang pa siya habang sumisingit ha!
Mabuti na lang, at nagpa GO na yung traffic enforcer.

post mo na yung mukha ng demonyo sa ibang sites ( facebook etc.etc. ) para pag umabot sakanya, umatras yagbols niya sa hiya. gagasgasan niya City mo eh mukhang malinis na malinis, interior pa lang oh.

Last night I was traveling along Ortigas (near medical city) turning left to Eastwood.

Nasa left lane ako doing ~60, and there was a motorbike tailing a slow car in the middle lane doing ~40.

With less than 2 meters to spare, the motorbike began gravitating to the left in order to "overtake" the slower car. Pinilit talaga. Ayan, hard brake ako (which was also dangerous for anyone who could have been behind me at that time)

Given our speeds, I doubt makakalabas siyang buhay kung di ako nakapag preno nang malakas at that time. Binusinahan ko na nga, parang dedma naman siya (tipong di niya alam na siya yung mali).

With the high cost of fuel many people are shifting to motorcycles as their alternative means of transportation, problem here is we have many undisciplined riders same with drivers.

Have encountered countless instances where riders force their way even though they are in a tight spot or wrong lane, have also involved in a side mirror bender with them and they just sped off. One even attempted to pass me on the blind side ( right ) and one rider got his hand full of blood coz he used his hand to cushion his impact on my side mirror while attempting to pass. That's the Philippines for you. Hayz.

I got late for work this morning because of an unusual traffic jam along Lanuza St. going to C5.

It turned to be an accident that blocked two lanes on the street:


The red civic on the opposite lane had its front bumper sheared off. I'm not sure how the accident happened though. Siguro nag u-u-turn yung Civic tapos hindi niya nakita yung motorcycle.

That Nissan van was also involved in the accident. Naka para din siya and the driver was also talking to the pasig cop.
