Seriously, though.
same with car or any other automotive dealers be it trucks, bus. just browse the goon squad forum here in tsikot.

LTO is part of the government. I don't expect the office of the president to directly regulate land transportation. They have more urgent matter to tend to. If the president wanted reform in this sector of society, he'll do it through LTO.

Dahilan ba yan? I have janitors that get paid less than these government drones yet work just as hard if not harder. Besides, if they think they're underpaid, THEN QUIT. But as long as they work for us, I expect them to do their effing jobs.

I have a very good friend, meron gli, nissan van, mitsubishi but sometimes he prefers to ride his bike and he is a safety rider. OK. Sabihin mo 99.9% na motor bike riders bastos sa da-an. that would still be acceptable.

One main reason really is the ease of entry to get one.

I was just working yesterday afternoon at my office and one of the messengers was in conversation with the staff about his motorbike being up for foreclosure by the lending company. He was bragging they wouldn't even make the effort anymore to get it as its in bad shape (panay gasgas), he lives out of the way, etc... I inquired out of curiosity and learned that he only made the DP of around 2k or 3K pesos then defaulted on all the installments.

I told him ingat nalang siya as malamang hindi nga kunin ng pinautangan niya pero pwede nila i-timbre as stolen, etc... para pahirapan lang siya at hulihin siya pag may mga checkpoint.

I agree! I have this neighbor who got his bike brandnew without any downpayment.... used the bike for a month and never paid any amortization. In short nilaspag yun motor....
