may nakasabay din akong pulis dati sa slex, paano ko nalaman? nakuniform with black jacket and an imposing police print on his jacket... umakyat din sya sa skyway going to makati. He even sped up to 110kph with no helmet at all.
legally pwede magmotor sa SLEX or any tollway, nahuli na 'ko niyan kasi sa pagkakaalam ko kasi wala na ang ban against small bikes, I ride a Suzuki 125 underbone pinatakbo ko sa SLEX, striked down na ang motorcycle ban pero iba ang lumabas sa Media, so yun, wala naman din silang (LTO) maikaso sa 'kin so binigay sa 'kin ang License ko without paying for the fine, I had it adjudicated, pero I'd agree that if in case motorcycles are allowed in the tollways, they should be in proper riding attire and equipment like headlights on and with side mirrors...
I agree ako dito, It's dangerous in the service road, alot of hazards for us bikers to potholes, pedestrians, animals etc.... kalukohan ng LTO, Media, PNCC etc... kaya ayaw nila payagan ang below 400cc. Alam ko meron ruling ang supreme court na ok ang mga motor sa NLEX & SLEX etc... people behind the ban don't give a F*ck. In other countries 150cc & up can use their highway, expressway whatever you want to call it.
ang motto nila dito is "why ride big if a small bike will suffice? "
before i hate the idea of having MC (400cc and up) in SLEX and NLEX.. i thought delikado sa motorista..
when i started riding MC, i found the practicality of commuting in and out of Manila with my MC, considering the metros appalling traffic condition and exorbitant fuel tags.. the S/Nlex offers the best option to travel since its more judicious to navigate the superhighways rather than the busy service (killer) roads...
we,from motorcyclephils. inc, wish that MCs be allowed to use N/Slex without prejudice to its displacement...
our ASIAN neighbors enjoy this priveledge that we wish we soon enjoy as well...
i hope that irresponsible, reckless, scatterbraine MC drivers (a minute part) will not blemished the good intentions of RESPONSIBLE MC DRIVERS..
RIDE SAFE!!!
amen to that...
I also used to have that mentality and the ban has sowed those seeds of mentality to everybody overtime...Originally Posted by k2tingx
enforcement of existing road rules and regulations is the key to having a safe and motor vehicle friendly roads... dapat enforce yung speed limit, road-worthiness ng bikes, pagiging limited access facility ng mga tollways (meaning walang mga tao na nagtitinda gaya ng sinabi sa taas), atbp... di yung they come up with new regulations just because they cannot, or will not, implement the existing ones... ang nangyayari kasi, dahil sa di nila maenforce, gagawa na lang ng panibagong rules para madali trabaho nila...

A Lot of Law Enforcers are actually the first on the list of law-breakers. They have this impression that they're above the law. Headed northbound along SLEX near the Bicutan exit, I saw a cop before with just a cap, not even a helmet, on his scooter. This is as crazy as those SWAT guys who ride in tandem on their dirtbikes on the Skyway with their long arms slung at their bikes. Tsk Tsk!
