I just think happy thoughts, but it's getting harder as there seems to be more *hole drivers every year.

'lalang.
i just had to do something, to get youngNfresh off the front page.
Pag karag-karag yung magulo, iniisip ko na lang I'm in a nicer car.
karamihan sa mga arrogant driver they drive slowly when you overtake them saka bibilisan, kakainis 😤
Yup. Ganyan nga. Sabagay I don't think they'll get far on the highway if they drive the way they do in traffic.
So many douches on the roads these days that I try to make extra effort to give way to people who use turn signals. Still hoping positive reinforcement will somehow disarm these thugs.

On reducing road rage, I force myself to think that the driver or the occupants of the other car could be someone I know.
If you follow through with that assumption, you can condition yourself to avoid an awkward situation. For example, how would you feel if the other guy turned out to be your boss or somebody you're trying to impress or respect?
Kahit hindi na yun.... For example, you shout or make rude gestures at him for an altercation, but when he/she rolled down the window, friend mo pala sa FB.
Relax nalang and detach yourself, emotionally, from the chore of driving. Keep your mind busy with something else. Listen to a podcast, for example.

Sobrang agree ako dito.
have this incident sa NLEX nasa fast lane yun adventure pag overtake ko sa right lane then get back ako sa left lane with proper signal light ng mga 10 seconds aba panay ang bright ayaw mag bigay so ako naman without knowing nag ovetake pa din ako, what the adventure did as overtake me again tapos nung nasa harap ko na biglang nag brake ng nag brake, ako naman cool lang nag overtake ako ulet sa right kasi nga nag brake sya aba yun kapantay ko na siya bigka ako ginitgit to the point na sobrang lapit na niya saken, dun na ako nabwisit dahil nag hahanap ata ng aksidente si tatang yun nasa toll gate na magkatabi kame ng lane binaba pa salamin niya then see this very old man naka white hat pa, parang pamburol na attire niya.
Angas naman ng Adventure na yan. I recently had a run-in with an *$$ driver of an Adventure. On my way to the office, I switched lane in preparation to make a left. I had enough distance from the Adventure on my rear but the driver was flashing his lights and honking his horn. When he came along side me at the stoplight, he gave me a bad look of sorts.
This is what I do too. I assume it might be a (most probably very distant) relative.
I just can't shake the idea that giving way all the time encourages such reckless behavior.
Ideally the LGU should be responsible for enforcing driving laws. If it can be done in BGC, Subic and Marikina? I don't see why others can't follow suit.
