When i encounter an *$$hole on the road and im very close to making a scene, i just count from 1 to 10. Usually by the time i reach 10, ok na ako.

And i also think of my family. Mamya may dala pang baril yan. Mahirap na

I never had road rage when I commuted over there. I don't mind dirty and muddy streets or waiting in the rain or the smell of trash. Those wash away when I take a shower.

But, driving and putting up with frustration day in and day out? It builds up with no relief in sight. Unfortunately, it takes its toll both physically and mentally. I watched my dad drive on Philippine streets. He was a gentle guy. Driving there was the only time he ever cussed and got angry.

Ha! try nyo drive dito sa China when almost all drivers akala cutting lanes are OK, but lately, pansin ko dito, daming taga middle eastern who drives very aggressive and they drive high end cars pa, meron a few weeks ago, nabundol ng isang middle eastern ang isang 70yo who's crossing the street, sa sobrang bilis ng takbo ng car, lumipad yung matanda nung nabundol nya, I heard they paid the family 3M rmb para di lng mag demanda ang family ng matanda.

cutting or changing lanes is fine. if someone cuts me ill let them do it safely. no need for me to inch too near them.

if i change lanes, I make sure the overtaken is surprised [emoji28]

Mas masama pa rin daw sa India. IIRC they even have that special court exclusively for road accidents.

EFREN! HAHAHA! Mabuti na yung big guy in a small car, than a small guy in a big car. We used to tease my Dad (6'+ tall) when he would drive his small car kasi parang nakasayad na sa roof lol.

I've accepted the fact that on the road, no matter where you are, there will be people who are bad at driving, using the phone, distracted, low intelligence or just really inconsiderate. I've heard a friend that he doesn't use his side mirrors and if he wants to go left, the other cars should give way, bahala sila. He is involved in two accidents already. SMH. lol!

I'm usually a defensive driver. I never had any road rage. lol

You want to cut me, sure, I'll slow down and give you space. A motorcycle wants to pass through my right side, sure buddy here's some space for you. You want go first on an intesection, I'll signal you to go first. You want to cross the road lola, ok, I'll stop for you, eventhough, you're jaywalking. If I accidently cut you, perhaps out of carelessness, I'll wind down my window to apologize or simply show my hand.

You go home happy with no stress at all and not a minute of your time wasted.

Acceptance, learning and improvising. And lastly, safety first for you and others.

Care to share and rant a bit LM? It's car related anyway and we all get stressed when driving daily.

Believe me, we all go through it.

So I stepped out of the car and politely asked the tricycle driver to back out a little kasi sabi ko di ko siya makita baka mabangga ko sila. Sabi niya sige lang daw kasya daw. So I went back in and tried backing out, nakalingon ako sa kanila and I could see their reaction na natataranta sila and complaining. First, sinabi ko na yun diba? Second, hindi naman nila ako ginuide paatras. So a good neighbor saw what was going on and helped the situation. While I was backing out I was ranting some stuff out of frustration.

Bakit may nakaparada sa harapan ng gate nyo or near it?

So yung MC nila, sa harap ng may harap nila pinaparada. Basically, one lane lang ang madaanan that time kasi nga may MC dun. I was thinking nga kung walang mga motor dun kasya naman talaga kami nung tricycle.
