Kasalanan ng LTO kung walang plate na available. bakit ang new car buyers ang mananagot. .

Kung strict na ma implement ito, di mo mailalabas ng casa ang brand new car mo.

^^Yes kung by the book di na nga, nakaintay nalang sa CASA kotse mo hanggang makuha ng CASA yung plaka from the LTO. Dapat kasi yung mga plates pre-made na tapos ilagay na sa car pagkabili tapos isend na ng CASA sa LTO yung owner details and car details with that pre-made plate #.... I dunno if its viable, but I think it could work...

^^^ based sa mga conduction stickers. dapat siguro alam ng LTO kung ilan cars ang nadeliver sa isang dealership. so dapat sa dealership may nakaabang na ng mga plaka.

now kung special/vanity plates. e di mag hintay sila. :D

Got my plates and stickers in almost 6 weeks (brought early Aug. 2007). But during that time, I was using the car.

Ako more than a month bago ko nakuha ang plate. Nagrequest kasi ako ng 7 or 8 ang ending. April 23 ko nailabas yong sasakyan naibigay sa akin yong plate may 27. Siguro nga normal na yong 3-4 weeks yong iba nga daw umaabot ng 4 months.

Grabe traffic kanina along Marcos Hiway coz may operation kanina LTO/PNP about this, flag down nila No Plates.

Ang nakakainis lang nag-setup sila on both sides of the road, ayun resulta bottleneck sa gitna

pati mga motor at covered plate kita ko pinara din.

Isa ako sa mga na-flag ng PNP kahapon.

Grabe! Nagdahilan na lang ako na on the way ako to Shaw to get my plates (kahit hindi naman). Sobrang kaba kaba ako lumabas kanina kasi baka andun pa sila.

Ang dami nila kahapon, I don't even know why they have to waste manpower on such petty things. Overkill.

What petty things? Things such as trying to prevent some lawbreakers and possible criminals from roaming our streets?

Granted the some people with legit reasons for not having plates (such as having no plate available upon car purchase) have been inconvenienced by this act, I do see the good in this.

We all do know that some criminals use (possibly stolen) cars and motorcycles with no plates so this would be one way to deter their criminal acts.

Also, it's about time someone did something about those vehicles with uber-tinted plates that you can barely even see the outlines of the plate number! Some people think tinted plate covers are cool but as one tsikot member has said before, how cool do you think it would be if it was you or a family member who gets sideswiped on the streets, with witnesses being unable to get the plate number because the plate covers were tinted (or if there were no plates attached at all).
