Ang pagkaalala ko ang SOP is to stay in your vehicle ang rule kapag mahuli ka. Pulis lang nag pwedeng magpabba in case they have reason to frisk you. So kung MMDA lang at pabababain ka, baka gusto humingi nang areglo.

It is SOP for the driver NOT to leave the vehicle when flagged down by MMDA/Police.

The bribe is harder to see if done from inside the car. Baka mahuli si manong MMDA sa CCTV ng MMDA for accepting bribes.

One has no reason to step out of the vehicle. Remember that MMDA are "glorified" traffic enforcers. Once they instruct you to step out of the vehicle, there are legal parameters already that they (MMDA) are violating. Show your license, but do not give it to them (if you know you were NOT VIOLATING any traffic rule).

Once you hand it over to them, patay kang bata ka!
