on our way earlier to slex sa c5 i was a passenger with my co-worker's innova. pinatabi kami ng asbu.ngumiti kami sa nanghuli samin and played along with his reasoning na "random check for smoke belching". my friend said, "sir, sure po kayo sa gagawin niyo?" and the enforcer said "trabaho lang po" tapos sabi ng kasama ko "sure kayo sir,(sabay abot ng or/cr] kasi gas po itong innova ko, hindi d4d". sagot lang nung asbu, "ay oo nga no, kala ko diesel, sige pwede na kayo umalis" naknang teteng talaga., btw it's a 2005 innova j m/t gas

hindi napansin ang vvti emblem sa may front fender.

I'm thinking once may pumara pwede kayang hingan sila ng city ordinace, mission order and most important copy of implementation rules... para alam mo kung anu yung basehan ng pag papatigil sayo at kung paanon nila gagawin yung test... para sure na hinde ni sasadyain na pausukin yung makina.

usual spot, before the elevated u-turn. baka di nga alam nun o tumitingin dun sa emblem ng vvti/d4d sir retz. kaya i'm guessing 3-5 years from now handa handa narin sa ganitong sitwasyon mga naka-theta II diyan

These clowns are now flagging down Montero's, Innova's, and Fortuner's, aside from their usual menu of L300 and korean vans. I always pass by Makati and Pasay ASBU operations. They look at the fenders of the Toyota's to determine if its gas or diesel. For the Monteros, IIRC, its a no-brainer.

How about those jeepneys? WTF talaga ang mga tao sa government. Middle class palagi kawawa.

If you own a diesel Innova or Fortuner, de-badge your car (all of it). Para iwas flag-down.

Where are their usual check points? I only keep on hearing of C5 close to the u-turn overpass area and under the cloverleaf where Osmena intersects with Edsa. I did see a Pasay ASBU before just pass the roundabout close to terminal 4 in the direction of resorts world.

Last week, around 3-4pm, may nakita akong ASBU along C5. After ng elevated U-Turn, northbound.

Usual hinuhuli, L300, trucks, Crosswinds, Adventures. What shocked me was may pinara sila.... a BRAND NEW D4D Innova.
