Medyo OT: Yang kanto ng Kalayaan at C5 kung saan may ASBU ay part of Makati City pa rin

If opacity is measured at redline, fine... but I drove that vehicle pretty far the other week... with numerous redline incidents, and it didn't belch. Even on sudden downshifts for overtaking, it didn't smoke. In fact, with aggressive driving, I only got it to smoke under load about five time in nearly fifteen hours of driving.

But my observation still stands... no rpm readout, no operator signature... not valid.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

emission test certificate is good only for 2 months and the max RPM during testing for diesel is at 3K with gradual pressing of the accelerator - not abrupt. walang alam ang gumamit ng emission test machine na yun.... babagsak lahat ng ite-test nila...

I agree with niky.... no rpm readout, no signature, reading is not valid so technically there is no violation.

and when testing for smoke belching, the pedal should be depressed quickly but gently. this is where testers fail. madalas parang tinatadyakan yun silinyador which is bad for diesel engines.

kung ako siguro panoorin ko kung pano sila magtest then warn them that if they break the vehicle, they should buy the vehicle

Sure 3k? Someone else (last page) said redline.

Anyway, I'm passing by the LTO tomorrow to ask at what rpm it should be done.

Don't expect anything to happen, but I'm hopeful.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
