Your registration expired this January 2008. Your SA should have explained this to you.

February 2nd, 2008 06:14 PM #16Ako ang mali or mali ang pag paliwanag sa akin ng dealeror when I got my plates. Even if I paid 3.5 years in my initial registration ( indicated in the O.R. under MVUCC daw) I still need to bring my car for registration. Now I have to shell out late registration penalty 1k ata. Ganun talaga **** happens. Thanks to all who shared their views. Hope people who read the thread learn something from my mistake.
cheers,
paul1

definitely mali ang paliwanag sa iyo. And i doubt na 3.5 yrs ang mvuc mo. walang ganun. Check mo, ang mvuc ng car is 2k per year regardless sa fractions.

naisahan ka ng dealer,,expired na registration mo. As you mentioned sticker mo up to 2007 only kaya kailangan mo ulit mag register for the year 2008

mine was bought june 05, had asked a plate ending 8 . 3yrs registration so 2008 august di ba... last year sabi ni wifey kailan tayo mag paregister dahil sticker natin ay 2005/2006/2007 di ba expired na dapat? explain ko sa kanya na sa aug 2008 pa ang expiry yung registration ng car
bro paul1, expire na nga registration mo... confirm mo rin sa dealer baka meron nga silang extension na nilakad as suggested by other peeps. isang paraan para ma-confirm mo na expire yung 2007 registered with plate ending in 1... "check the cars around you kung 2008 na yung sticker with plate ending in 1"

That can mean one of two things, or both:
1. You paid for 2005, 2006 and 2007 only (3 years), maybe what they meant was that for 2008 you have to pay extra (see below)
2. You must also pay for 2008 since it's already end of the month, even if the registration is said to be September since your plate ends in 1 you should have your car registered by the end of January 2008.
