i did kinda counterflow once going to baguio along kenon road. well actually it was just a rookie overtaking mistake on my part..
it was my first time driving to baguio then. there was a big slow truck right in front of me so what i did was i checked if the opposite lane was free. it was so i started to switch lanes and floored the accelerator. i was driving a diesel pajero back then so i was on the sluggish side. all of a sudden there was a fast stretched jeep rushing towards me so i tried to go back to my lane because there was no chance for me to squeeze in between the jeep and the truck in front of me.
there was another truck behind me and what he did was very dangerous. he floored the gas pedal so that i would not be able to get back in my lane. so i was stuck in the middle of the road because this truck behind me wouldnt let me in again. i touched side mirrors with both the jeep and the truck. luckily that was all there was to it.
i know i should not have risked overtaking in an uphill with a blind curve ahead but i think the truck behind me shouldve let me back in my lane for safety purposes.
