Its first come first serve basis bro.. free parking and no reservation.. happened to me before, naka position na nga ako to park bigla may naka abang na sa parking. Wife ng driver eh yung car nila 4 pa sa pila wala. Ginawa pa marker yung wife nya..

I wonder why it suddenly becomes a dick move when it's done at a parking area? Many people use such a system when falling in line sa uv express (1 falls in line while the other pays sa dispatcher), sa cafeteria/fast food (1 secures a table while the other one buys the food), sa grocery, and any other place a couple or group of people has to fall in line.

Don't get me wrong. I don't do that when it comes to parking coz I'm one of those who think it's a douche move and I don't know why there's a double standard.

Yup ang parking kasi kotse ang gagamit ng space. Unlike sa fast food na tao din ang uupo and it's more efficient for just one person to make and pay the order.

Sa grocery I find it a little rude if the cart is empty naka line up na or when one person falls in line and another keeps adding items.

On the topic of waiting for parking, I think it should be first come first served. Problem is, there is nobody to implement such a policy. Even in fastfood restos naguunahan tayo sa mas maigsing pila sa counters. Di ba dapat isang pila lang for everyone and then the next in the queue gets called? Like in S&R food counters.

I hope it's something our tongressmen can legislate. It will change the general public's attitude towards queues for the better. Parking included. If business owners can't take it upon themselves to do it voluntarily, it should become a requirement.
