However, I agree with bro.WW that for grocery parking,- it should be "park-facing-the-wall" so that you have an easy access to your car's trunk or van's rear door/hatch for the items you bought. Rather than squeezing in between vehicles,- with the chance of scratching the vehicles parked beside you.
That is why I love the slanted parking of SM Hypermart in our area. However, Metro Grocery in ATC, with a horde of undisciplined drivers, parking their vehicles leaving just a small space for you to get out,- I would park in reverse (and if at all possible,- in a relatively wider parking slot), especially when I'm driving our white Aircraft Carrier....
