Don't you just love those people who park stupidly?

Last Saturday this lady was "reserving" a parking slot in the 3rd Level of the Trinoma North Parking building. I was having none of it so I proceeded to back into the slot and the lady tried to block me.

Me: Parking slot po yan, di naman po kayo kotse.
Her: Umiikot lang yung kasama ko eh pero amin na 'tong slot.
Me: Bakit hindi pa kayo nagpark dyan kanina?
Her: Kasi nakalagpas na kami nung umalis yung nakapark kaya bumaba ako at nireserve.
(note: one way lahat doon)
Me: Ay no, that's not how it works.

By this time nakapasok na rin ako sa slot at wala na syang magawa kundi umalis. She left in a huff. Good thing kasi ready na ko makipag-away hahaha.

PS: Wala namang gasgas kotse ko pagbalik ko sa parking

Ang tapang mo Sis.... Kung sa akin nangyari iyan,- ikot na lang ako,- mga batugang bosyo ang mga klase ng tao na iyan.... Ayokong na lang madamay sa mga kabalastugan nila...

Kagabi cool lang ako sa 3rd level Mindanao Parking... Mabuti na lang at may entrance (pala) rito papasok ng Landmark... Malapit lang ang lakad namin....

the same thing happen to us, but for us wala pa wife Marker sa slot, when halfway nakapasok bigla may kumalampag from behind wife pala ng driver ginawang marker, muntik na magkabunutan naka clutch bag yung lalaki ako na nasa pocket lang ballpen laman hehe, in between us is the guard who immediately responded ang kawawa ang wife nya dahil tinulak nya si mrs.. ayun sampal sunyok inabot nag ka blackeye..

Kakasuhan ba si misis? Physical injuries 'yan ah.

But I can relate. Misis ko rin palaban, at sigurado lalaban yan kapag may nakaaway na babae. Pero, ang wife ko merong stun gun at mace sa bag nya. Kapag pumatol yan, lalabas kaagad ang armas nya.

Ako may stun gun din sa murse ko.

I don't think I look mataray, but at the time I probably had on my "don't f*ck with me" face hahaha. Mainit ulo ko from the traffic and full parking (weekend sale) pero kalmado lang naman ako when I was talking. Napressure din sya siguro na umalis kasi bumubusina na yung mga nakapila sa likod ko. At alam ko naman yung risk na magasgasan haha.

there is no law prohibiting a human from reserving a slot on a parking lot... i know its common sense and disrespectful, but if there is no law, then you cant prohibit a human for doing such act...

Well, parking etiquette. Or pwede ring nasa rules nung establishment na bawal yun specifically or mas general na bawal mag-obstruct ng flow of traffic. If it's one way and saka lang umalis yung nakapark nung nakalagpas ka na, hope for the best ka na lang dapat na next na ikot mo nandun pa slot.

I admit I was also being pretty stubborn then but I was hopeful that if a parking attendant or security guard came and sees that the car she was reserving for was 2-3 cars behind me he'd agree that I had a better claim to the spot.

Don't even bother finding out. Naalala ko na may malubak na ilang portions (blame the contractor, Summa Kumagai). Well, that's a long time ago, baka naayos na.

Kung napansin mo rin, maalon ang portions of Trinoma's floors, yung may mga cobblestone-type tiles sa taas. Dami kapalpakan ang contractor. Since di ako napupunta doon sa area na may problema, di ko pa napansin kung naayos na rin yun.

Actually kmi ang nag complain sa security dept ng mall with the assistance of guard on duty, then police blatter and even went to a friend in LTO w/c offered us if we want them to tag the owner as delinquent driver but wifey chooses not to, but that was 4yrs ago. The following days we noticed the car was always parked along the road sa city (half is naka ahon sa sidewalk) dun pala nakatira, so maybe thats explain why they are always that aggressive makipag agawan sa parking slot dahil everyday practice na nila cguro yun cause they dont have a garage of their own.

Yes possibly because the yellow separation line is on the driver's side parallel to the car maybe his mistaken guide and not bother to check on the other side coz wala nman naka park.
