Those safety features can only do so much. Take the 599 Ferrari as an example. It has top-notch safety features but once an idiot sits behind the wheel, expect the worst to happen. No airbag can save you if you hit an immovable object at a very high speed

May 20th, 2012 11:39 PM #10I heard about this from my brother... four teens in a new elantra early in the morning hits a street pole (inside Alabang) and the force of crash nearly cuts the car in two. All four teen gets thrown out and dead on the spot.

Buti walang namatay pero may ilang critical. Tsk tsk. Don't drink and drive talaga. And even if di ka lasing, wag kang magsakay ng barkadang mga lasing unless tumba na lahat!

A lot of us were young and crazy once. I myself learned the hard way and was extremely lucky no one got hurt or killed. I'm also thankful my dad (RIP) cared enough to keep an eye on my driving and not just give me a car and leave me alone, until he knew i was responsible enough.
Coincidence too that just last Friday, a former officemate and I were having a talk and our topic drifted to schoolmates killed in car accidents back in high school (alam niyo na yung usong car na yan nung panahon na yon). May 21st, 2012 01:18 AM #19High school lang daw mga toh, malamang wala pang license, kung meron man, student's lang, bawal parin yun. Tapos driving while under the influence pa, tapos going above 40 sa loob ng subdivision. Baka poste pa yung sisihin.
