It's not surprising to find such demeanor about politicians...they act like they are VIPS and that everyone should give way to them (parang yun sa mga kalye na may mga escorts that bully us motorists just to let them pass) sad to say this is the norm here in our country...I hope the victims do get justice for the beatings they took from these politician.

Let's not generalize naman. I'm from Mindanao and have lots of Muslim friends. Just like Christians, may mga mababait din at may abusado.

I would agree with you more if you would say that they are typical politicians who abuse their power and authority. We've heard of a lot of them in government! :suka:

Actually, I've lived in Butuan for a total of 4 months and been to Surigao, CDO, Davao, Panabo, and all towns and cities in between, and I have to say that life in Mindanao is much more pleasurable than in Manila...really, I don't need to emphasize that.

And yeah, a lot of officials abuse power! That's a fact. What I was generalizing as "representative" is the "general" condition of his province. You know, the MOA-AD thing and the rebels.
