Kahit siguro sub-standard pa din bagong plate na yan, magtatagal naman siguro yan kahit 1 year kung everyday "normal" elements lang ang kalaban, but kung ibubunot mo muna yung plates mo sa road, bago mo isalpak, i guess ganyan nga mangyayari. (come to think of it, meron ka na ulit reason to bash BS Pnoy!) hahahahaha

Help lang regarding my Lto stickers. I bought my Montero at Citimotors Makati July 2013 and received my plates January last year pero wala pa daw yung stickers. Nakalimutan ko na about the stickers until lately. Nung nag follow up ako wala pa rin daw so kinulit ko na ang agent.

Tumawag ang agent ko na meron na daw sticker na pwede i-assign sa unit ko pero I have to pay an additional 900 pesos dahil daw sa date adjustment. Tama ba ito?
Ano kaya kung di ko na lang iclaim ang sticker since di naman Ako nasisista?

We have an LTO registration renewal assistance program in our subdivision and although they charge more, it is very quick and convenient. When I register our vehicles, usually the OR & CR arrive without the stickers but it is indicated there that no sticker plates available. We have to wait for 2 to 3 wks before the sticker plates/windshield sticker arrive without being charged for any fee.

Now in your case, I don't understand why your agent is charging you for those stickers for date adjustment. You paid for it in the first place along with the registration & plates. First of all when your plates arrived in Jan, those stickers should follow suit. Regardless if you forgot about it, they should arrive no matter what coz as far as I know, those 3 (OR/CR, plates & stickers) should come together. From Jan last yr up to the time that you remembered that you haven't gotten those stickers, your agent should've known that he still had to give those stickers to you.

Now that he's charging you for date adjustment, what is that for? You should first ask him what happened to those stickers that didn't arrive.

Ang alam ko kailangan mo padin kunin ung stickers kasi naka encode ata yan sa computer ng LTO kung nakuha mo ung previous stickers or hindi. And hindi ata mari renew pag hindi mo nakuha un. Im not sure on the accuracy of this pero ganyan ung pagkaka explain sa akin nung LTO guy way back.

tip dun sa mga new plate owners..

since bawal na ang plate cover, bili kayo ng CLEAR COAT ACRYLIC PAINT then spray nyo sa new plates (1 can is good for 2-3 coatings) para kahit paano ay may protection sa scratches & fading..

what do you mean? Twice ko binalikan ang 2014 stickers ko pero wala pa din daw... Hindi ko nakuha paano ngayon yan? magkakaproblem ako sa registration ngayon? Feb ako magpaparehistro.

those stickers are just outside indicators that the car was registered for 2014. and many cars were not issued those, despite the fact that they paid for them. it is the 2014 registration papers, that the LTO looks at, when renewing registration.
their absence on the car, should not be a hindrance to 2015 registration. everyone knows it's the LTO's fault.

*n5110: So tama pala na medyo magkaka problem ka pag hindi mo kinuha or nakuha ung stickers. Bad trip naman pag ganyan. Imagine just for those freaking stickers, you have to wait for 2 weeks para lang ma clear ung name mo sa system even if you have the OR/CR already.

Hey guys, sorry if my question is not directly connected to this topic but it's one of the closest I found. So how do dealers register cars? Do they tell LTO what the car's year model is or LTO identifies it?
Example: mr. Car buyer visited the dealer and bought a montero 2014 version. Is it possible for the dealer to register it as a 2015 model or will it really say 2014 in the ORCR?
