How long before they issued your plate? Not in a hurry to get mine as I like the conduction sticker number better than my assigned plate number hehe.

It's like 16 months Sir. Apparently, I only made 2 follow ups, plate must have been with them for a long time.

I called the dealer a few minutes ago. They are issuing plates to cars purchased in Sept 2015 pa lang. So it will be a while...

virtual plate, may naka assign na plaka sa LTO system (aka computer) pero yong physical plate wala pa...

sarap gamitin sa krimen yan since wala naman security feature yong virtual plate at wala din naman way ang ordinaryo tao i verify kung totoo nga yong virtual plate (txt lto plate to 666? good luck!)

OT: buti pa yong conduction sticker hindi na uubusan...

so more likely, yung wala pa ring totoong plaka (for new cars), may nakaasign nang license plate number?

kasi, as I observed on some new cars bought in the provinces ay may plate number na, virtual that is (instead of using the conduction sticker number)

MANILA, Philippines – Motorists will have to wait until next year before they can receive their car plates and driver’s license cards.

Officials of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) told senators yesterday during a hearing on the agency’s proposed budget for 2017 that it would not be possible to address the backlog on car plates and driver’s license cards this year because of pending legal issues.

he Commission on Audit has issued a notice of disallowance on the LTO’s contract with its Dutch-Filipino consortium Knieriem B.V. Goes and Power Plates Development Concept Inc. that resulted in the shortage of car plates.

The DOTr is reviewing all available options, including emergency procurement to address the car plates backlog.

If the emergency procurement is approved, car plates are expected to be available in the second quarter of 2017, DOTr officials said.

The DOTr explained that the procurement of car plates would have to be done next year because there are no funds available under this year’s national budget for such purpose.

In the long term, the DOTr intends to purchase the machines needed to manufacture the license plates.

My problem now is how can i replace my temporary plate number that was printed on the CR and OR with the number in the actual plate that was just been given to me., yung temporary number ay six numbers.

my plates are supposed to be gotten from them, but they have moved out.

Buti pa kayo nakuha na plaka. wala pa un sakin. Requested for a special plate from hondakal, wala pa rin daw. Mag 1yr n half na kotse ko. Pero sa system nila may lumalabas ng plaka nka assign sa sasakyan ko.. hay..

Bro,- the permanent plate number is just handwritten on the CR..... That's what the LTO has been doing in the past. Things could have changed now,- so check with them.

Then, when you renew the registration, the permanent plate number is automatically printed on the OR...
