Deym! Good thing the Vios' driver survived. The driver escaped as usual.

bakit ba kasi di pa din nila lagyan ng speed limiter yan mga bus eh. dami na accident wala pa din ginagawang action. sana may tamaan na politiko itong mga bus na to para mag karon ng aksyon.

Malamang naka brake yung vios while naka gas yung bus, kaya imbis na itulak eh sumampa. The vios is brand new wala pang plaka. As a bus driver mahihirapan syang bayaran yun kaya takbo na lang.

Kotse, nadaganan ng bus sa EDSA | DZMM - ABS-CBN

(UPDATED 12:30PM) Wasak ang isang bagong kotse matapos madaganan ng pampasaherong bus sa EDSA-Muñoz northbound sa Quezon City.

Ayon sa nakasaksing si Wilfredo Ramos, pa-kanan sa kanto ang gray Toyota Vios nang biglang pumreno ang Cher bus sa harapan. Bumangga ang kotse sa naturang bus.

Pero dahil na rin sa mabilis umanong takbo ng Dela Rosa Transit ay bumangga at sumampa naman ito sa likuran ng Toyota Vios.

Halos isang oras na naipit ang driver ng kotse bago nahugot.

Sa kabila ng matinding pagkayupi ng kotse, kaunting sugat lamang ang nakitang tinamo ng driver at may malay ito nang ilabas at isakay sa ambulansya. Dumating ang ilang kaanak nito kaya nakilala ang biktima na si Marcelino Umali Jr.

Kinilala naman ang bus driver na si Edgardo Lilis. Giit nito, nawalan siya ng kontrol dahil nawalan ng preno ang sasakyan kaya naaksidente.

Nilinaw naman nitong hindi siya tumakas kundi nagpasyang dumiretso na lang sa Traffic Sector 6. Natakot din anya siyang kuyugin ng mga tao sa lugar. Hawak na rin ng mga awtoridad ang kundoktor.

Nagdulot ng matinding pagsisikip sa trapik ang insidente.

Samantala, sa panayam ng DZMM, sinabi ni LTFRB Chairperson Winston Ginez na mag-iinspeksyon ang kanilang grupo sa pinangyarihan ng insidente.

"Talagang nakakagimbal at nakakapanindig-balahibo ang nangyari," ani Ginez. "We will definitely exercise our regulatory power over this bus dahil nga po isa na namang recklessness ang maaaring nangyari rito." Report from Johnson Manabat, Radyo Patrol 46

Ang nabasa ko sa isang fb post, yung bus sa harap ng Vios ay biglang tumigil (what else is new) at dun initially bumangga ang Vios. Tapos yung bus na nsa likod niya ay mabilis ang takbo at hindi naka-preno kaya nasandwich.

Nakakatakot

Just this morning a bus kept tailgating me on Buendia. Nakakakaba kasi ang lapit talaga at stop-and-go yung traffic. Tapos may ganito pala sa EDSA.

Tanong ko lang, guys, ano nga ba dapat gawin kapag ganoong dinidikitan ka ng di hamak na mas malaki habang traffic? Syempre switch lanes at the soonest possible time pero kung bus din ang nasa left and right (Buendia = FUN) di naman pwede.

Slow down... *slowly*... signal that you're going to turn or something... make him go around you. Or leave the bus lane, if you are on it, and go into the middle lane.

That is a scary accident. Good thing the driver of that Vios survived.

*kai s.: If traffic, avoid instant or sudden braking lalo pag bus or truck ang nasa likod mo kasi sigurado warak ka. Hayaan mo silang tumutok but make sure when you brake, you have an ample distance in front to stop likewise, you give the vehicle at the back an ample distance to stop. Kung baga pagka brake mo, alalayan mo siya by using your mirrors. Estimate it when to fully brake your vehicle based sa movement niya. Hayaan mo siyang tumutok basta ang mahalaga, almost stop na. Kaya wag ka din tumututok.

Same when you're cruising or merging. Don't be an idiot and do a brake check or drive annoyingly slow. You are endangering yourself even more and can cause road rage.

One time along Mindanao Ave en route to Regalado, a vehicle, Hyundai i10 ata un, me and a tanker were on the same lane. I noticed the driver of the Hyundai in front of me keeps on doing sudden brakes just after accelerating. I don't know if the driver was an idiot or a serious idiot. Noong una napa sudden brake din ako coz I wasn't expecting it. So I kept my distance knowing tanker ang nasa likod ko. When I saw an opportunity, I changed lane. All the while the driver kept on doing sudden brakes. Pagka liko sa Regalado, I saw an opportunity to change lane, after a couple of seconds, I heard a loud screeching and "chug chug chug" sound and a very loud and long honk. Un na ung tanker. Sa laki niya, the driver of the tanker wasn't expecting a sudden brake, so its tires slid and ung karga niya tumutulak coz of force kaya binabaran niya ng busina. Pagka left mo kasi doon, ang tendency is to accelerate lalo kung hindi matraffic kaso bigla siyang nagbi brake.

Taragis na mga bus yan! Patay kung patay talaga akala mo mauubusan ng kalsada.

I rode a nova bus line kanina pauwi. Sorry for the word pero parang halang ang kaluluwa ng mga bus drivers nila. Hopeless philippines.

Also, if you are driving a small vehicle make sure you sound your horn generously to let the bus driver know that you are near or going to swerve, etc. always use signals.
