just to clarify, im not here to start a religious war or something. gusto ko lang malaman opinion niyo on this matter.

napansin ko lang yung karamihan ng malalaking simbahan ay walang ample parking space or wala talagang alloted parking space for churchgoers. kaya every sunday (or friday in the case of quiapo) nagiging cause of traffic yung mga nakaparadang sasakyan sa kalsada. obvious examples are:

    - quiapo church
    - st. peter in commonwealth
    - the church in mindanao avenue near st. james

back to basics, ayon sa constitution: the separation of church and state is blah blah blah. but what is the limit? i've read somewhere that establishments are required by law (construction-related) to provide parking space to their customers and the like, are churches covered by this?

naisip ko lang kasi, kung need talaga magdala ng sasakyan going to quiapo church, pwede naman siguro iwan sa SM Manila then ride an fx or taxi to the church. kung takot naman mahold-up along the way, then the church itself is by no means safe from pickpockets and gropers

I avoid this problem by going to the 4 pm mass. I can choose a good parking slot. The worst time would be the 9 am and 5:30 pm mass.

for old churches circa Spanish era, wala naman motor vehicle pa ng tinayo ang mga yan so parking space was not considered at that time.

Prays hard, attends every religious event, but doesn't care if makaperwisyo ng ibang tao.

    So much win.
