Bad motoring etiquette: What you hate the most.

Just an hour ago, we came from the Manong’s in Alabang & decided to pass beneath the bridge going home to Sucat. Traffic was bad, as usual. What made it worse was the 4 lanes becoming 2 part, jeeps & motorcycles. I was making my way into one of the lanes & I was to go behind this Starex (if you believe the zipper way) them, this dark old model Montero was blocking me from entering the lane. Suddenly, from the left comes this Jeep that just comes in & sticks the edge of his bumper in that little space in front of the Montero. Si Montero, sa pagka-dupang, inabante pa rin & scrapes his left front fender on the bumper. Haha! Karma to you. Hope you are a member of tsikot.

There's this intersection we are approaching red and left and red ang straight, we are going left, malayo pa lang sa intersection eh we are on the left lane na and signaling left na. Ewan ko kung bago sya sa lugar but regular users of this intersection knows that the straight goes green 1st while the left will wait.

There's this expander behind us going straight na nag babad ng buisna. I mean does he even pass a drivers license exam? Stop eating sweet potato only all day everyday para may laman ang utak.

pero yun iba talaga bababaran ka as if tren sila at wala dapat obstruction sa harap nila LOL
sa akin naman pakanan, papasok sa compound namin. puro MC, tricycle at minsan pedestrian na clueless kahit ang laki ng entrada ay hinaharangan parin.

Iyan ang dapat na isaksak sa utak ng mga MC drivers....

If you're relatively slow and the vehicle in front of you is already way ahead (or it is an open road),- do not be an obstruction to traffic.... Itabi ang motorsiklo and drive your drive,- at paraanin ang gustong mauna sa iyo...

No one owns the road,- so learn how to share it!

Understand that. Road sharing has different perspectives.

If it is just one lane for both the 4-wheel and the 2-wheel vehicles, and the road ahead is open,- then isn't it basic road courtesy for the motorcycle to "give room" for the 4-wheel to overtake(without taking much of the opposite lane) if the motorcycle chooses to move slowly? (Rather than vehemently and stubbornly stay in the middle of the road,- making it a more aggressive move for the 4-wheel to overtake?

Come on. We as responsible drivers know basic road courtesy.

Eh simpleng use of lanes di nga masunod ng ibang MC riders eh. Lagi na lang counterflow, singit sa sidewalk, tatawid sa pedestrian lane, cutting in front of others with reckless abandon - how could you think such people have road courtesy?

agree, road courtesy no more. the mindset of most MC riders nowadays ay pang-iwas traffic ang motor. so they go through every space and corner na kaya nila lumusot. as if thinking na pedestrians pa rin sila but mas mabilis nga lang. and like sa mga naka tsikot, maraming nagkalat na kamote, and kamote na nga may uod pa[emoji28]

oo nga bro and kahit slow moving sila, accident waiting to happen parin ang eksena kasi pag overtake mo doon sa isa eh pilit parin ikaw box out dun sa line. ewan ko ano ba kinapogi nila doon, panay naman ang mini stop over para magpa photo op O_o

Nakakabadtrip rin yung hihinto ka dahil may "no right turn on red" sign tapos bubusinahan ka pa rin nung nasa likod.

May mga driver na pati pagmamaneho mo at pagsunod sa batas gustong pakialaman.
