Been reading the forums for the past weeks and learn a lot of things about cars. Thanks a lot for granting my registration. Dito ko din nalaman ang tungkol sa autotechnika and would share my expereince when I had my first atf flushing.
I called up the shop first and talk to Percy and told him na I will be bringing my own ATF fluid (13liters) he told me he is not sure whether 13 is enough for the flushing so I bought another 10li dexron 2 spec. I arrived at 11:30am but unfortunately mag lulunch break na so sabi niya palamigin muna then we'll start at 1pm. They started by installing the hose on the trannies line going to the machine,put 10li on the transtech (muna) then start with the process. Pag on pa lang ng machine nakita agad namin na nagbago yung kulay ng fluid sa glass tube naging black ito meaning this came from my tranny at dapat daw maging parehas ang coming in fluid sa going out.ayun halos identical na raw ito when we consumed 14li, hmm sabi ko hinde pala ganun kadumi ang atf ko.
For my test drive, I can feel it shifts more smoothly, hinde mo na kailangan i birit ng konti to upshift and yung jerk when you put to R nabawasan. I feel more at ease knowing na I have a clean fluid running on my tranny. Autotechnika also performed the 76point check at marami din silang nakitang worn out parts that needs replacement. Im still waiting for the quotation as Percy promised. Kudos sa autotechnika for the good service.
BTW my ride is civic vtec 99.
Ngayon I have 9li of excess atf baka meron gustong bumili.
